Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man Bike Build Off Mickey Rourke's Black Death 3 Харлей Дэвидсон и Ковбой Мальборо Мотоцикл Мики Рурка Черная Смерть 3
Very good job i love that bike. When i was seventeen i was in la with a great family friend mute Ron. He was a galloping goose and new Chuck Zito very well and the movie Harley-Davidson and the Marlboro man had been out for a couple of year's and Mickey Rourke was still riding black death and promoting vhs sales for the movie and Mr. Zito is his bodyguard/security. Well my friend mute Ron was invited to one of the bar deals by Mr. Zito and was able to get me invited Mickey Rourke let me ride the original black death around the block. One of my best memories. I couldn't stop smiling
A lot of work and effort. Nice replication of the Black Death. When I was a kid I thought it was the coolest bike ever. Now that I'm older I like baggers lol.
Sweet bike. This movie is why I've always wanted a Harley. Coincidentally, my local Harley shop called today and I'm headed to pick up my 2020 Breakout 114 after work. Good job.
Love thelook of this bike. It would be brutal riding with no shocks and thin seat, but that's beside the point. I always laughed at the end of the movie when that woman got on the back of it, with no seat at all, no shocks, and no place to put her feet, and they rode off together. Bet that ride lasted about 10 seconds before she couldn't take it anymore!
Excellent, well done. Only thing I'd change for running on the street would be to put a set of good Legends shocks on the back. Understood that would deviate a bit from the original concept of building exactly like the movie bike but for day-to-day riding I believe it would be needed.
Thank's for the 'mention' on my comment, for what it's worth, I subbed, left a thumbs up, and clicked on the bell, Love those Harleys. Thank's for sharing.
@@HarleyBrest , One more thing, I'm in the market for a decent low miler "FatBoy", If anything grabs your attention, would you mind letting me know? Greatly appreciate it. Thank's for sharing.
so many of the tribute bikes have the seat pan un-level and i don't think that's right. Even the roller that Black Death Cycles sells has the seat uneven, but shots from the movie show that seat as level. but all in all, that's a damn good job. i love that bike. it's still awful pretty.
the seat position might have something to do with some kind of copyright or patent or whatever infringement. But I concur, makes me want to turn my ;91 FXR into something like this
@@vn3946 European plates :). Europe is not a country, it's a continent! And every country i europe has different plates. Ex plates in Germany are a lot bigger than in Sweden!
The real one is more distressed as built. The pipes are burned and a little rusty. The bare unpainted gas tank was distressed before clear coating. The handle bars are slightly different. They used an 80ci engine bored and stroked to 98ci. I have an article from Hot Rod magazine shortly after the film came out that has a full review of the bike.
Funny to this day many try but only fail in the poor attempt to duplicate , it's the little things all you guys are missing, so close but so far away, keep at it .
