Cane you tell me how works the digital caliper for rear tire adjustment. I'm going to change my rear tire and I'm considering use digital caliper but not how exactly use it. I heard its more accurate way. Thanks
For belt driven Harleys... The hash marks along the belt cover/guide are typically 1/8 of an inch apart... This helps you measure belt slack... And you're typically supposed to use a belt tension tool (motion pro makes one) that applies 10lbs of force to the belt (to measure the slack/deflection). Typical slack is between 3/8 and 5/8 but you need to verify the spec for your bike...As for being even on both sides... You can use the calipers to measure the exposed thread length on the adjusters... There are multiple ways to verify you're even on both sides
@@LightningMotorsportsAZ so for my understanding just measure the exposed thread until got the same measurement in both side. Just that and then torque the bolts of the shafts?
