Ive gotten into bikes in the last few months, at first it was just sport bikes and naked bikes but lately there are certain cruisers that I could really see myself on, Harleys like this are pretty sick
I've never thought of risers as being a cool looking part of a motorcycle but they really make the bike on your Street Bob. Hope you keep this one awhile, beautiful bike.
Right now, my M109R is my bike of choice, can't get enough of it, i open up garage, and just go crazy over it, my VTX 1800cc is right there to, to me any Harley Davidson is awesome, i think Harley is all around great bike
Dope ride Jon. Looks like it fits you perfectly. I love my 06 street bob (1st year). Had it 6 months now - looking better now with the biltwell 12" moto t bars (love them - poor man's version of lucky Dave's). Forward controls with the same bmx footrests like yours. I love that exhaust you have - next thing I need to do on mine. 2into1 rocks. Thinking about welding one up using a fat bob header. Another great video brother, thank you!!
@@JonsMotoGarage fully with you on that my man. I've owned several bikes (not as many as you tho:)) and the Dyna is by far my fave. Perfect size. Perfect power. Capable to do it all, and pure BAD ASS.
That is a good looking bike man. Makes me miss my lowrider s. Had the motor built up to 117 horse and 119 torque to the wheel. Rwd 14" shocks and 2 over front end with race tech internals. So much fun. But wanted another bike for the wife to enjoy with me so got a new road glide last year and making it a purpose built/club style/whatever u want to call them. My poison I guess is building a bike then getting rid of it a little after the build is done. The wife has convinced me to enjoy this build as I am trying to launch a side career in painting and powder coating for bikes so my build will have to be a much slower pace. Anyways keep up the content man have enjoyed every video so far.
Your Street Bob looks really good. Where's your left side mirror? I like the mag type wheels better than laced too. My absolute favorite of the Dynas is the Dyna FXDL Low Rider with the speedo and tach on the tank. I really like the blacked out look now where as I used to be into a lot of chrome. Right now the lighter Dynas at around 650 lbs would fit me better than my 800 lbs Road King. Also now you can get forward controls that aren't way out front, that I think would be more comfortable. My other Dynas all had the way forward ones.
Nice vid very hekpful. I have 103 street bob too. Did you need to change sprocket or anything at all before you started wheeling?any info helps. Thank you.
Great video man. I just traded in my 2020 lowrider s for a Dyna Street Bob 2014. What a Night and Day difference. The Low Rider s had gobs of power but no suspension.
Hey Jon I'm about 5,7 and have a 2017 Street Bob and wanted to go with the speed Kings pull back couldn't decide to go with the 10 inch or the 12 I thought the 12 would be perfect until I saw your video.. do you thing the ten would be more comfortable ride I cruise alot I'm town especially bc to work and back with occasional rides out to the hill country on the weekends.
D⚡️C risers are made out the fine country of Brazil 🇧🇷...Thra⚡️hin Supply made in the good ol USA 🇺🇸...just ordered my Thrashing 6.5”risers and mid bars from Thra⚡️hin Supply...can’t wait!
The 103 twin cam has plenty of power...saying that I plan on doing a cam upgrade this year to mine.... Will you do this upgrade Jon?... If so what will you use?.. What company...I've read and heard from top mechanics Andrews is one of the best made...
I don't plan on doing any engine upgrades at the moment. I haven't done any research on the options either. Sounds like you're already more qualified than me to speak on it. Lol. Keep me posted what you go with!
I like your risers! I have a Raider and I want to sit back more and be more comfortable for longer rides. I have been told get the West coast T bars, Drag T bars, Ape Hangers and on and on. I was actually thinking about getting taller risers with more pull back and using the stock Raider bars. Since you have ridden about everything, what would you recommend? I dont want to buy something, install it just to try it. Thanks!
Ooooh, that's a tough one. I haven't looked into many of the options for raiders. Plus, you're working with different lines on the bike so you probably wanna keep that in mind as well. Hmmm... Cool thing with the risers is you can swap out bars, so you could try out stock and then get different ones if needed. I did a lot of research/measurements before going with my new set up cause I wanted to make sure it fit me.
I’ve been watching your channel a couple of months I don’t know why I wasn’t subbed but I am now... that is an awesome scoot. I’m saving for my first ... I can’t be too picky on what I get because I’m poor lol so it will probably be an older bike... I really like the street bob and wide glide but I would ride a fatboy ... your bike is insanely cool.
Thanks, brotha! I appreciate the support! The rad thing with motos is there are so many great choices to choose from, at just about any budget. No doubt you'll have a blast! My first bike was a shadow 600.
Jon you were doing a walk around on your Dyna, My Addiction, you said the tail lights were from custom Dynamics I've called them and they cannot find that particular part I'm building one of my fxr's and would like to use those tail lights could you tell me what company and part number please I don't know
Hey Jon, been a fan of the channel for awhile. Currently I have a 2018 mt 07 amd a 2018 grom and want to get into harley wheelies like yourself, which harleys do you recommend?
Sorry for slow reply. Dynas and sportsters are great options for the Harley wheelies. You can find them used for relatively inexpensive and there are tons of aftermarket options for turning the bike into a wheelie machine! Just avoid the dyna wide glide as it has a more raked out front end.
I still need to install the bung king crash bars. The fxr divisions that I have now aren't too bad, but if the bike goes down on the right side, the exhaust will take the beating.
Yo dude, would you have a link to the custom dynamics setup on your bike, looks like custom dynamics did a refresh on all there products and I can’t find that license plate mount or rear lights anywhere... appreciate any added info!
Como estas hefé please forgive my attempt at Spanish but I tried. It’s our addiction brother we all have it I love love love motorcycles while I’m a Harley junkie it’s not the only bike I love I’ve had an RC51 a Buell X1 and an old school Kawasaki 750 four mid 70’s model and a bunch more in between P.S. AA is for quitters lmfao although I quit drinking and replaced that addiction with motorcycles right now I enjoy my Electra Glide CVO 2005 in yellow always loved that color and now I own it picked it up with less than 17k miles and for under $ 9k I’ve mentioned it before but as you get tons of replies I thought I’d remind you lol love your and the wife’s channels 👍👍👍👍
Hahaha! You've got a great accent! Lol. You know we're in it for the love of the two wheels! Hard to kick the habbit. Jackie and I both appreciate all the support! And there's no way I could forget the smoking deal you got on the yellow cvo! Heck yeah!
If you remember Jon I was in your comments before you hit 1500 subscribers and I talked ab buying a dyna, nope I bought a crazy Yamaha fz1 and a fz6r, do you think you’ll buy one soon for a review video. I just want to here your opinion, ride crazy 😝
Heck yeah! Always good to hear from an OG! I bought/sold an fz1 a few years back. At the time, I wasn't trying anytying wild so I didn't really tap into its potential, but I could tell it was a beast! I'll snatch one up if the right deal comes along.
I think my biggest issue recently with pipes are the look of most 2-1s especially with the m8 engines. I watch a tune job on block head one of the guys had a lowrider s with the 114 in it after it got cammed I think it had some straight shots or something that engine sounded like muscle car mean. I know the 2-1 are better for torque and power, but it just doesn't look right on some bikes especially on baggers in my opinion. For example I saw 2-1 on a 72 like the one you owned and I own now it just looked like ass on a chopper style bike.
Yes! It's no joke! Only at high speeds when cornering. That's why I try to keep it on tight/slower switchbacks and/or on one wheel for the wheelie sessions. Lol.
@@gregoriojuarez1579 I've heard front and rear motor mounts and upgraded suspension is the go to. However, I know a dude who went so far as to have his bike laser aligned AFTER doing all of the above and he still had issues. That's the dynas major flaw.i dont mind so much cause I mostly do the wheelie stuff. Otherwise, I'd be all over the new softail m8.
I don't need it... I don't need it........ I DO NEED IT!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHH HALP ME, I'm obsessed with the idea of eventually buying one when I can afford it and save, I might even get a tiger tattoo'd on my quadricep and start lookin like a dyna bro. I need help lol
Hey man have you heard of Kruesi Originals our in cave creek? They are are Harley stunt shop and Harley maintenance shop. They are a bunch of rad dudes who shred
Yo dude, great content. Im’a post up some content soon enough but just wanted to give my support and a shoutout. Like’d / Sub’d. All the goods. Great bike, stay safe throttle up! 🤙🏻🇺🇸⚡️
