Didn't remember mentioning it in the video, but yeah, I the first year '79 CBX (1047cc). The 1st year had the best power and performance. In 1980, new emissions restricted the power. I was looking through a inventory list in 1982 of past model year bikes that Honda had, and there was the '79 CBX! Ordered it, drove up to the warehouse in Kent, Wa. to pick up the crate. The bike would make it on a cross country trip no problem, but it's a bit small to carry the gear you would need. For comfort and convenience, I would most likely take some kind of touring or sport touring bike... Thanks for watching and commenting!
