2024 starts in Daytona then heads south to key west, then heads north winding through the US , Canada finishing in Homer, Alaska.

I did not know 1000 miles in one day was even achievable! Once you said that hard maps were allowed, reaching the final destination didn't seem so impossible...😅 What a cool trip to take! Best wishes to this years participants!!

I love riding. Love long distances and ride daily but that sounds crazy and dangerous. Fatigue is a very dangerous thing. Have fun though, to each his own.

Yes, fatigue is dangerous! That is one of the many reasons that you have to have logged enough riding miles too be able to do something like 10k miles in 10 days. Thank you for commenting! MB

I know a guy that did the Hoka Hey the very first year and he said there was a lot of controversy involved with it.

Yes, they were a bit disorganized the first year, and a lot of rumors were flying...and, it took longer than expected for the winner to receive their winnings. Of course, now, there are no winnings, and it is no longer a Race. KP

Hmmm perfect adventure for my new to me Pan America Special 🤔 it's more of a condition of your mind than the body , I've ridden many many 1000-1200 mile days sleep 4-5 hours and go again, body only hurts so much before your mind blocks it out , well atleast for me it does 😎
