Watched your video for the install of mine earlier. I ran into a lot of issues getting the headlight centered with making contact with the fairing and also with the fairing alignment. Finally after about 2hrs of shifting it around I was able to get it on.
I do not know why it would not fit. Same frame. Same forks, headlight, etc. Only difference is the bars. It should fit. You can try to call Memphis Shades to verify.
Is it also possible to mount that fairing to the Harley Sportster Iron 1200 (2019 model)? I sent a couple of mails to Memphis Shades themselves without getting an answer for weeks now.
Did your headlight wire thats plugged into back of headlight bucket with a grommet pull real tight when you added the extension block? Mine barely fit and pulls fully tight and im stressing bad about it. Did you have this problem? What do I do cuz I cant find any videos or information on how to fix this. There is ALWAYS something that screws me dangit!! Im devastated over this cuz I just dropped almost $600 and everything is screwed over just 1 inch of slack I need for the wire. It's the cover of the wires that has a grommet connected to the headlight bucket.
Check your wiring harness and see if you need to cut one of the zip ties holding it together. I know I had to cut one of the zip ties to free up the wiring for the turn signals.
@@Backroads_and_BBQ Thanks, yeah I did that and it didn't help with that 1 wire I needed. I'm gonna take my seat off and see if I can spot the wire near battery compartment than maybe take my gas tank off to see if the wire is strapped down to the frame cuz it runs under my tank. I really don't wanna do all this but I gotta figure this out. Worst case I'll take it to Harley and have them deal with it. Thanks for ypur help man, hope you're enjoying the fairing.
What state are you in? Those roads look cracked and super rough!!!! Hope the Higher windshield works better for keeping the wind off your face!! That's going to make a BIG DIFFERENCE
We are in Oklahoma. Yes, our roads are very exciting! So far I am pretty happy with the windscreen and fairing. If I do more highway riding I would increase the windscreen size for sure.
