Totally can relate to Aaron, I ride with the visor up on really hot days and thankfully I had sunglasses on as a huge bug smashed me right in the eye. I had to pull over to clean them off to keep riding, close to the size of a cicada.

I have Sundowner seat, windshield, mustache with footpegs, saddlebags, sissybar/backrest, & luggage rack. I paid too much for a Sportster but it had all the stuff. My boyfriend bought me a super bright headlight for Christmas last year, next will be pipes!😎🏍️

They need to have the trains like the one they have that runs between the UK and France under the English channel. They have cars you can ride your motorcycle into and transport it. This way you still have transportation once you get to your destination.

Trailers !!! 🤐🤐🤐 my wife at 48 yrs old can ride straight threw from PA to Myrtle beach straight threw 640 miles in one day on her 1200 sporty and been doing it for years,, trailers, man the ride is the fun,, its the adventure ,,you ever see my bike on a trailer call the popo its been stolen lol

There’s a reason why there are so many bicycles, the closer you get to Clermont. Clermont is home to the National Training Center. All Olympic biking, running, swimming and combination (biathlon, triathlon, etc.) sports are centered there. That has brought all the Xtreme sports athletes and training centers as well. They all train on bikes as well. Almost all of the wake/ski guys live here and probably 75-80% of the top 50 Supercross guys, all live here.

That brick house took multiple years to build - we moved to the area in 2016 and the building was up as a shell - it just got finished this year - its almost as though the owner does work as money comes in - it's been interesting to watch.

Back in the 1970s their was railroads everywhere in Florida. You could get tickets travel all over by train. It was cool. Around 1982 they started to remove the tracks.

I got a 05 -1200c and I get around 160mpg before I have to switch to reserve. Than I get about 30 miles. Not to shabby

I lived in Anchorage for 7 months! Beautiful state awesome city and HUGE difference in public transportation... you can’t make it anywhere in Florida with out a vehicle

Yo! As a kid I stayed in North Carolina at a place called Ghost Town. It was badass! But we stayed in a log cabin, on the mountain, in a cloud. Birds singing in the morning. I loved it!

Glad to see some love for the Sportsters! I like the big twins just fine but I love the Sporties! I ride my 1200 every day and it always puts a smile on my face. I'm a baby boomer and can't see myself on a trike plus they cost way to much! My bike handles great and is light enough to keep me having a blast on two wheels as I ride off into the sunset of life!

If you are looking for a 6th gear you only need to swap out your front pulley to a 31 tooth. then you have a 4 speed with overdrive. You lose a little "outta the gate" power but gain so much on the highway.

I love my 1200 Roadster, it had a great hole shot off the line, Now I look at the 1200 V Rod and the 1200 V Max and I wonder what happen to the sportster?

Blockhead, if you come to Tennessee to ride have some training classes for your group first. I just escorted an out of state group to the Tail of the Dragon and a local ride and somebody not used to the curves went off a left hander and into a chain link fence. I have also watched videos of groups from out of state riding the Dragon and man it is disaster waiting to happen, Be careful and have fun.

I live on Rt 70, and since it goes from 1 side of the USA to the other- we get all the tourons. Why don't you go over everyone's bikes when you do group rides? I'm sure people would like a look at what everyone is riding, I would have loved to get a better look at A-a ron's bike for instance.

I have a 1990 Sportster, pretty much custom everything. It’s an awesome bike. Just wish it had a 5 speed tranny instead of a 4.

I have a 91 sportster, pretty much custom everything as well, mine has the 5 speed but I still find my self wishin for a 6th gear a lot lol. You ever take any long trips on yours?

Not particularly, most I’ve take it is a couple hours away from home. I do have a 55 minute commute(if I go the speed limit) with a bunch of freeway and it does fine. I think the ratio of my 4th gear is the same as the 5 speeds 5th.
