Installation was pretty easy after I figured out I needed a different headlight bucket/ring to install it, Light was a huge improvement! What do you think?

Thanks for the video. I've been looking to swap out my lights for LED's and I think I found the ones I'm going with. Great tip on the bucket change. I'm going to buy the set of 3 since I have a 2010 Ultra Ltd

I just installed this on my 2010 SG, too much crap on the road right now to try it out but the install went very easy. The only problem I had was the screw to hold the trim ring on wasn’t long enough. The original didn’t work because it’s the sheet metal type and the new adaptor plate has a machine thread. I found an identical one 1/4” longer and it worked perfectly.

two sunpies on my Electra, both had the reflector plate break free and rattle around, didn't bother sending it back after the first failure, just ponied up and bought a daymaker

I just bought a 13 SG and interested in this light. Heard it interferes with fm radio but I have a aquatic radio and I will be using my SiriusXM from my phone so I don’t think it would be a issue

Not sure if you'll see this or not. I ordered the light and bucket and the bucket bolts in place along with the light sliding into place. I'm curious what actually holds the light in? Just the outside trim ring? The stock light has a retainer ring that holds the light in. The new bucket has no screw holes for it. Am I missing something? Hopefully you see this I could use some guidance quick if you don't mind. Thanks

Around the 4.5min mark I explain how its held in. That headlight mount clamps it into place. The trim ring goes over that for looks. Did you get the same parts I have in the video?

Thanks for getting back to me. Mine apparently doesn't have a ring that holds the bulb in unfortunately...and if it did there's no place on the bucket for the ring to even bolt to. Other than maybe taking the bolts out of the springs and then putting the bulb in then putting a ring over it. Didn't even come with directions. It came in a box without anything really. I've had it for a while now so probably won't take it back but hopefully they can send me what I need. 90% of the time when I order online this is the end result. It's almost like my name is in a black list let's screw with this guy list..haha...I screen shot your directions and it definitely shows a ring to hold the bulb in then the trim ring last. Is what it is on my end. Also got "plug and play" spot lights but they have to be spliced in. Definitely think I got the shaft on this one..haha...thanks again

you're shining your headlight on an area right outside of your garage that is already lit up. why not turn off your garage lights? or walk the bike down the driveway some so you're shining it on a truly dark area?

This is just a bunch of crap. The dealer sold me this light and said that this headlight mounted right up, the fact that the mounting ring needs to be changed like this demonstrates that the dealers have no idea what they are selling. The "kit" is totally inadequate and I would NEVER recommend that anyone buy it due to the deceptive nature of thier marketing.
