Cool content. Please try and keep the video camera stable, eg. the part with the green moss on the stairs. Good shots of the butterfly - I didn't expect them to be so sharp.
Congratulations on the new RU-vid channel, Mike! You’re a natural in front of the camera. Nice video number one! Look forward to more videos, maybe a short tour of the lab with the team. This new film has very saturated colors even with the cloudy day light you had. The yellows, reds and greens are so vibrant! The yellow areas on the butterfly and that spear-shaped flower just popped out at you. Definitely not like Kodak Gold 200! Look forward to testing this film as soon as I receive it from you! Best of luck with the channel! Anthony 👏
It seems like this film does very strong halation, and Harman compensates for this by making the film have very cold tones. I think I would prefer this film if they made it overall more warm so that the halation would work with the rest of the colors, not against them. The minicooper photo was a good example of this, the top was beige because white + halation, but the body was very dark red, and the leaves were blue-ish green. But ofcourse, then they would need to make the red even more sensitive, leading to even more halation... I do like halation, but there does have to be a limit somewhere. Perhaps they will figure out a halation limiting layer sometime
Great observation! The film does seem to have strong halation. Can’t wait to see what they come up with next as proceeds will be going towards additional development.
You seriously discredit yourself by adding the fake shutter/film advance sound. It's a Leica you are using, without mirror slap and motor wind. What an insult to Leica!! 👎
I am the video editor….i did not mean to bring shame and dishonor to the Leica Shutter….the sound was just meant as a transition to show the picture not to try to emulate the immaculate beauty of the Leica shutter. Sorry I am a 35mm film noob. We will fix this on the next video and you can let us know if you approve. 😉
