Hello Mates,
Finally got the opportunity to do the comparison between Stock Harman and Hypersonic. I was in dilemma whether to install Hypersonic or not and this analysis really helped.

..'Harman' system is undoubtedly the best system😎 as it is performing better even in my Rs.120/- Samsung 'EHS61 Earphone' compared to sound output of 'Hypersonic'.. For me Harman is hands down the best!! Still it's an individual choice to consider..🤗

I have digipad 1.0 in my Honda Wrv diesel top model and it is crap! Onroad price was 11.5 lacs.. Honda city petrol top model 13.5 lac also used to come with same system that time.. Lots of complaints

@@gauravkumar1597 yes, could be, but 80k or 120k, guys will go for auto loans right. If yes, then emi will be not much of a difference for that extra money. Its a problem for people who buy with cash. Also there are many additional advantages like, factory fitted sound system, etc

The screen gives a cheap look to an amazing car. But its everyone's own choice 👍👍. Sound is not even comparable, it can be louder but not soothing to ears. Harman is owned by Samsung and JBL is owned by Harman. Great for good sound. Two things are essential in case one doesn't have a touch screen - Navigation, Rear Camera. I have one wireless car charger/holder ( Charge wireless while phone Navigation on) and IRVM with live feed rear cam with night vision. In normal IRVM, you still have blind spots specially in Nexon.

Yes, not only rear camera, as I am not very pro in narrow hilly road driving, even experienced drivers from plains also face problem judging the left side when giving pass to on coming cars and you have nobody to help you know how much space you have from the edge of the road, for example in Binsar WLS , the last 5 kms are very narrow , from that experience, I decided to install another camera to the left ORVM like we get to see 360 degree cameras in modern cars (eg. Nissan Kick). So these arrangements took some time to get them done , apart from several dash cams with different features. Wish I can make videos like Vinod sir. :-) Thanks

When TATA offers you the best, why you people go with alterations. Moreover alterations in car looses both warranty and insurance claims. In case if any body really needs a good music then go for class A amplifier. It's really good

Alterations do not loose warrenty. As long as their is no wire cuttings. Modern alterations are plug and play.. Like usb flash drive, but with different connectors. Don't know about insurance though..

which kind of class A amplifier, for stock speakers or the stock harman head unit. A very good chance is that the stock speakers will be blown, even if they are not, the output will be as same replacing the head unit, if not better then the original.

If one needs good loud music then one can build a custom made enclosure with speakers of varying power output and a oversized class a amp. And who has heard about insurance claim being void on system modifications. Stock head units and stock speakers in whatever premium cars, will always be inferior to aftermarket systems. For that's how the whole thing runs. Auto market mods and auto accessories have the highest rate of profit. Right from dealers to online platforms. For if you buy online @ a discounted price, then you need to install it somewhere and there you will be even.

Brother the dealer is making fool he said that after canbus connected your original car console will work and output will come out from that. Actually canbus is a device that control all company fitted switches like steering wheel controls, rear view parking sensors etc it's nothing to do with the company fitted silver console, I am telling you all this for your information.

I have been planning to buy Nexon XM Petrol. I had the same thought of getting the touchscreen infotainment fitted in it from Tata Motors itself. I discussed the same with the sales executive and he mentioned that there is a 1 year warranty of music system and if any changes are done, the warranty will get void and the cost is also a lot. I had the same reason of reverse camera, navigation to get the Touchscreen system. I would also like to be a part of your Tata group or any trips of this group as I am also a Tata owner. 😃 I feel the stock music system remains the best choice. 👍

I feel stock Harman sound is way beyond Hypersonic.. Those minute things only matter a lot.. That's what makes the player better.... For a second I thought of going for hypersonic.. But I am good with Harman.. Need to check for a different solution for display..

SUGGESTIONS:- Install parallel hypersonic android screen player with can connect with a small hidden speakers for navigation,camera for reverse. Harman company fitted player will run speaker as they do earlier, small display will replace by hypersonic. :- aap apna Mobil bachaa skte h jo aap regular basis nevigation k liye use krte h wo, or reverse camera bhi lg jayga. - AUX cable se personic ya bluetooth se player ko coneect kr dena Ya separate chla lena.

The original system (Harman) which remains in the car remains only to operate your original audio functions through canbus with hypersonic.sound output is from hypersonic & with dsp (digital sound processor)

@Ridiculously Amazing Nice video , good to see first time going to such depth to show technicals . Have read all comments as well said in one of comment about canbus . Also check nitin's video on this product . Cannot say anything on sound. Hypersonic is clear replacement of harman headunit (silverbox ) . Above cam be justified by two statements . 1. Hypersonic is android system means it is itself having OS(operation system) where audio codecs are there hence harman ka OS picture me nhi aaega after hypersonic. 2. Hypersonic requires canbus which is nothing it's own harness. So this might connect to harman harness. So harman ka harness uske headunit se nikalke hypersonic ke harness me lagana hga. It will be helpful if you check with nitin's technician and take some snapshot of orignal harman headunit connectivity with display using harness. I will be waiting for ur reply.

It depends on priority as you said..for me the map navigation and reverse camera matters the most..and that infotainment screen makes is so much easier..so you should definitely go for it..it's not just for entertainment but a good convenient feature..

You know how stupid tata is in few things.... In a 17.5 lakh vehicle they did not give a reverse cam and had launched with only parking sensors. .. Also I will refrain to comment on the music console

Thanks for this video. Even I am in the same dilemma, whether to take XMA and install android touch screen (mainly for Reverse camera, navigation) or go for XZA+ and relieve me from this tension. Problem is that price difference is very huge between the two variants

@@RidiculouslyAmazing btw, the Hypersonic which you compared, was it DSP (digital signal processor) one or regular one ? As per the sellers, DSP ones have better audio output compared to regular ones. If you compared with regular one, may be you can make a similar video on comparing with DSP touchscreen

@@vikramsingh1991 I went with XMAS. Main reasons are 1. Harman Sound Quality 2. Android touch screens are laggy. When using Google maps, there is some delay. My current setup in car is 1. Mobile holder: so that I can use maps and songs from mobile which are much faster than touch screen 2. Rearview mirror dash cam : this serves the purpose of reverse camera and also dashcam for front and back

Hello, my suggestion is to keep the stock Harman unless you really need a reverse camera screen. Your mobile will do all other functions. Spending 15-20k for reverse camera to be thought of.. when r u making installation video of Arm rest?? Awaiting that...

Bro ..The difference is because of the pre-amp of hyper sonic..thats why the Sound increase felt, by fitting tweeters ,changes can felt and the clarity increase..

I have tata nexon xma(s) variant which came with harman in dash audio system. It didnt had much to offer since it was a small digital screen and not a touch screen system. But the audio quality of the system was amazing and the system syncronized very well with the steering mounted control. Few months later i got installed a basic android infotainment system to use back camera and google maps. The speaker sounded pathetic with that android system and google maps took a very long time to open and setting a location was a big challenge since the app was hanging a lot. And the player didnt syncronize well with the steering mounted control. Today after 1 year i went back to the tata service center and i got installed my old small digital player by harman and it is working flawlessly.

Brother, since u r looking for an aftermarket HU I would suggest you to go for sony xav-ax8000 model.It's recently launched with 9" screen and can also fit in a single din slot.Price is on the higher side but it's totally worth it.

I have a Nexon XM model which has the HARMAN music set ( Small one) . As usual , people are suggesting me to opt for a bigger one a 7 or 9 inch Touchscreen system. However, since HARMAN' sound quality is better ( that's what I have heard) . Is it really worth changing the already installed music system. Please suggest

It looks Abhishek bhai khudse thode nakhush hogaye man me hi sound compare ke bad ke ye old wala hi acha output deta hai 😅 But again as you said sir the only downside about original infotainment system is small display jisme reverse camera nahi dekh sakte.I also think Yahi main practical use ke lia thodi badi screen chahia.

There will be difference becuz u played the song directly from youtube in the hypersonic system and played music via bluetooth in the stock system in the other car. If you can maintain the same conditions in both cars then I think you will know the real difference. Playing via bluetooth will always reduce the quality.

What I can conclude is removing company fitted system is not a good idea. It impacted the sound. The Chinese stuff was giving a very distorted sound. Herman has quality.

Excellent comparison bhai... ORIGINAL stock speakers won this battle no doubt.. But again its all come up with the whole infotainment package in which Hypersonic meet the requird expectations with Navigation/Rear cam etc...

Thanks Brother....There is what the dilemma is... Hypersonic - Full package with a lot of features Harman - very good sound quality but other things are missing.... :( I have decided to keep Harman for now and keep searching for good ones!!

I have a mix opinion because it's depend on person's choice and requirements ...ppl 1 lac extra pay karte hai in XM Model for music system and some minor features if touchscreen ki requirements hai to ya to top model le sakte hai ya fir base model because XM variants me 1 lac extra pat kar ke then touchscreen fit karwa ke sound quality me compromise karte hai to then XM variant ka sense nahi banta hai...fir base Model leke puri modification karwao ..... Harman ki sound quality 20 hai to aftermarket 19 hai or ye fark to rahega...

Try branded ones, Sony or pioneer (Not sure if its available). Chinese ones are all same with different branding. I guess Blaupunkt 4 GB model should be available soon, wait for the feedback

aap ko sirf itna karna hai... boodmo se original tweeter manga ke minimum 2 doors mein laga dijiye....4 mein lagaya toh best.... original tweeter crossover ke sath aata hai... then you don't need anything.... hypersonic mein equalizer bhi hai usko adjust karke aap same original harman ki quality paa sakate ho.... original system mein bass punch jyada hai... hypersonic ke 10 band equalizer mein first 4 are for bass... adjust second band for grooviness... then check...

I think Blaupunkt will be closer to company fitted system . ............. So comparison between Blaupunkt keylargo V/s Harman kardon gets minimal difference......... Difference starts from 8:36 In this video i realise deep bass + vibration are accurate in Harman but in Hypersonic Bass is flater .

Your observation is correct... I had a talk to Tata dealer for key largo but they said quality will not be as Harman so I did not install. I soon will come up with the comparision

Sir Harman ka best hai... Aap kabhi a r Rahman k gane lagao aour compare karo.. u will get much difference.. ek ek chote chote beats bhi clear aate hai Harman me.. i booked xt altroz.. i was thinking about after market modification.. but for music lover Harman is best..and pleasant

Your original unit is best, u are a experienced driver, why want rear view parking cameras, in other hand most of time listening music, but rear parking cameras used occassionally, so I think u don't want to compromise with your lots of entertainment time with occassionally use rear parking. Same opinion with navigation also. Display unit some time divert your consentration, this is too bad.

Thanks for your opinion, appreciate that a lot!!! you are right.. I am keeping Harman and looking for alternate option for reverse camera.... When I was in Spiti trip, I really felt need of the reverse camera at night. It was very cold and pitch dark and could not go out :)

Even I have installed Woodman 9 inch Screen in my Tiago XT. The sound quality is good if you play with the equalisers a bit. But get many goodies like reverse camera and Navigation. Cost around 13K

Price matters for XE owners simple, it's not your home just a car, mostly system use for navigation and back camera and yaya music also but little important for me. So result is don't mugup your mind just go pocket friendly.

Great Buddy, I am glad to know you still remember it!!! I had Pioneer system with 4 DD speakers and later I installed 4 channel AMP and JBL bass tube and tweeters too. With AMP and JBL bass tube, Bass goes very high so it can not be compared with normal stock speakers but I was surprised to see the very good bass from stock normal speakers and it blows your mind everything you listen to it... The JBL bass tube and 4 channel amp I installed was only 8k but Mono AMP with DVC woofers will make a lot difference. I am planning for them!
