That is OK if using a square hollow box-section removable ball tow hitch But useless for a NORMAL FIXED TONGUE 1+7/8" or the newer 50mm BALL type tow-balls? ie: One where the ball is bolted to a fixed flat bar, itself BOLTED onto the chassis. Described as the Class 2 standard bolt on type. Thus the only fitment point one has to use a lift accessory, is a ROUND BALL, not a hollow square tube.

Sales people who don’t know a crimping tool from a bulls ass have no idea what it takes to route the wiring safely underneath the vehicle ask “why does it take so long?” In dirt or gravel drives where jacks or ramps not safe it is a contortionist trick to even access the bottom of vehicle, let alone doing the wiring where it has to be placed to avoid trama. I have done this and other types of lifts for 26 plus years. I have rescued other people’s customers that were stranded due to hurried, half assed installations.
