So, I actually have a philosophy degree from UAB, where Dr. Rachels taught, which he even mentions at the beginning of this lecture. I took capstone classes in the honorary 'Rachels Library' at the top of the humanities building. Sadly, he passed away from cancer in 2003, about five years before I started college there. The professors who knew him could not have respected him more, often talking about what a decent and great man he was. His introductory philosophy books, especially those on ethics (which he later co-wrote with his son), are still some of the best available to this day. I've searched everywhere for a lecture of his just to hear him speak, but never found one until now. It’s incredible that you found and uploaded this. If you have or come across anymore, please upload them. Thank you, truly.
