I really love the aesthetics of this speaker and this the first standard Bluetooth speaker that I’ve seen with a down firing woofer that isn’t like the surround sound speakers(ex Sony SRS-RA3000)
How about a test with an EQ app that boosts 5KHz about 3-6dB? There seems to be a dip in the frequency response curves I've seen published. The Go Plus Play 2 sounds better in the midrange/voice to me compared to the Go Plus Play 3. Comparing Go Plus Play 2 and 3, the Go Plus Play 3 sounds like you are at the door of room with music playing inside and the Go Plus Play 2 sounds like you are in the room with the music.
I'll definitely try and test it out with some eq apps, I know the other youtubers that did harmon kardon go plus play 3 vs other speaker did it with stock eq, we just all figured out about the treble and bass equalizers so I'm curious to see if the treble eq 3 would help fill in the mids and make it sound better or how it now compares
@@JagistreviewsGotchu, well that's odd because now I have to adjust the eq to my liking everytime I use the speaker. They should've just let you keep the eq from the previous adjustment.
@@Jagistreviews It's just such a satisfying Listen - honestly. I recommend a Bowers and Wilkins Zeppelin Air Wireless if you like tone of the HK3, identical sound signature. I have a Fiio BTR7 listening to HD LDAC into the Aux, playing FLAC Jazz - its just a dream. Stuff JBL and their Bum Boxes
