I remember a few years ago I asked him where all his RU-vid videos went and he basically uploaded to other platforms at that point because RU-vid pays like a joke and he wasn't standing for it. Not sure where he's now though.
It takes talent to beatbox. It takes talent to play harmonica. It takes soul, drive, and vast amounts of creativity to combine both in perfect harmony. Hats off to you, Yuri Lane, keep up the good work.

It's been 10 years since you came out with this video bro. I saw it 2 weeks after you posted it. Did you know that, to a degree, you popularized a genre of music? You should be proud bruh, or at least aware. You are a piece of music history. Congrats dog.

10 years late to the party... Based on the comments I read, Yuri seems like one of the early Harmonica beatboxers and he has quite a fan following . That's so awesome ... Why doesn't he upload anymore ?
that Harmonica just gives it SOUL to the tune and mix that with beatbox and new got a new generation of music.. i couldnt help but feel patriotic and thuggish at the same time

TO ALL YURI'S FANS: He made an album recently. It is literally called "Yuri Basho Lane". Very good, clear sound. Old melodies of his harmonica and some new tunes and instruments. Idk when exactly he made it, but it is telling me that it's a 2020 album.
I keep returning to this! Not only is it still amazing, but it takes me back to the nicktoons era in the 90s to 2000s! Anyone else remember when they used the harmonica in their commercial all those years ago?

Nice work, man. That was actually really enjoyable to watch. You didn't seem to lose any harmonica quality while adding the beatboxing, so props to you. Flute+beatbox playing usually suffers the flute portion from what I've seen, so well done with the harmonica.
Lads Yuri is not saying he's better than anyone, and anyone who claims they're better, leave it to us to decide, post it up on RU-vid and see how many hits you get... This video has been viewed so many times cos people actually like it, and if there are people better than Yuri out there, fair play, I'll post you out a medal for your wonderful achievement.
@akmikeman35 Nothing like having a harmonica in the palm of your hand while your rolling down the highway busting beats. I'm unclear about your comment about the video. This is beatbox and harmonica at the same time. no loops, no multitracks, just me and my harp. I can vouch for it. It's real. I saw him at a comedy show in Chicago, Improv Olympic I think (granted, it was a couple of years ago). Really amazing. Ran into him on the El afterwards. Really cool dude. Gotta love the big city. Best of luck, Yuri.

Addicted to this, found a crappy little harmonica I found in a box when I bought a PS2 of my friend and been playing this like, non-stop at school, everyone dances whenever I (attempt) to play it :P
Good video man, definitely one of the best harmonica videos I have seen. As for the commentors, stop posting about stupid dislike bars and buttons and SERIOUSLY stop saying "justin beiber..." and referencing his penis or suggesting he either made all the thumbs or his fans did. Freaking annoying.
