Nestled adjacent to the Bajo de San Isidro Ecological Reserve, the ATO House by IR Arquitectura in San Isidro, Argentina, is a remarkable blend of architecture and nature. Featuring pre-existing elements like an olive tree and a swimming pool, the design incorporates semi-covered spaces, treetop-level domestic functions, and a fully landscaped roof with native vegetation. The structure’s thermodynamic efficiency is enhanced through passive solutions and advanced technologies, including geothermal systems and photovoltaic collectors. The ATO House epitomizes a symbiotic relationship between human living spaces and the natural ecosystem, promoting sustainable living through thoughtful design and innovation.
