The problem with RCCL’s Oasis-class sized ships is that they failed to increase the size and number of the entertainment venues, which means that they fill up quickly. We missed out on a few of them because we didn’t plan early enough, which is something we have never had to do on other smaller ships.
I would agree. The entertainment is very good but have plan it out. Also was missing some of the small bands or singers maybe they were there just couldn't find them.
If you watch the video which I hope you did you notice there is no crowds or long lines. Its the way the ship is designed. My question for you have been on this ship or some other cruse line?
First cruise ever was on Oasis, been on it twice and still have not had the chance to do everything that I want to do. Absolutely amazing class of ship and by far my all time favorite. Can not wait to get on this class of ship again!!
Great tour brother, reminds me of the Allure,we sailed on the inaugural cruise out of Galveston, our cabin was on deck 9 over looking the Central Park which was very nice view. The only thing I don't care for now a days is the way you book to see shows. Finally made diamond plus on that cruise. Cowboy Don
Just got off of the Allure. Not "crowded" at all. Lots and lots of area to 'spread out' in. I did not get off the ship in Nassau and walked 5.86 miles around the ship!!
@@ridingwiththerileys Yes! December 4th on the Allure was my very first cruise but, I had done my homework on the Oasis Class. I went with friends who are 'experienced' cruisers. My buddy figured that he had already 'seen it all' on this-or-that ship. NOPE! We got onboard and got into the Promenade, , , , , , his jaw dropped. After watching the aqua show he said he could not believe that what he just saw was On a ship!!! I had already booked 4 nights for May before taking December cruise and, , , , Tuesday I booked the Allure for 4 nights in March.
What sailing date were you on, if you don't mind my asking? We were on the December 10 sailing and it was very choppy all throughout the week. But based on a couple shots you gave us, it looks like y'all had relatively calm seas :). We too thought the Harmony was indeed a beautiful ship. The shows on Harmony were terrific, but we did not get to see the water show (Fine Line) because of the weather. They canceled it on a few of the nights and offered a very, VERY modified version of it on other nights.
What month did you sail? Do you happen to know if your ship was at full capacity? We just took our first cruise on Odyssey and we're booking for Harmony for end of this year. I really love how there's so many open seats on Harmony!
Hey there. We sailed the first of December 2023. Great time to cruise since its all decorated for Christmas. The ship was at 100% capacity really did not feel that crowded. Only time it did was the main dinning room but you got right and sit down. Never ever do "My Time" dinning or you will wait a really long time to get seated. We do the early dinning 6:00 since you then can attend shows and other things. We sailed out Galveston. If got more questions ask away we are Diamond and have sailed the world
that would be amazing, i would be on one in a heartbeat if they did :) but the problem is our cruise ports are too small for the ships. quantum and ovation of the seas i think are the largest that our ports can handle@@ridingwiththerileys
