Harold Bloom, conducts a seminar in a small class setting, at the New School in NYC during the spring semester. This is the middle seminar of the five allocated to Freud. These interpretative discussions are a close reading of Freud as he speculates and invents a concept of the mind and how it operates. The first five classes were on religious texts, the five devoted to Freud, and finally five devoted to the American transcendental literature from Ralph Waldo Emerson to Walt Whitman to Wallace Stevens.
