Harold Lloyd's World of Comedy (TV series) - #3 

I think they used to show these during the late 70s on BBC on a Saturday morning. Either way, thanks for uploading them. We really need the likes of Harold Lloyd in these dark and cynical times.

Fantastic! These shows take me back..they were very popular here in the UK, running on-and-off for 8 years on the BBC. They still bring a smile to my face seeing them again after all this time! Thanks for posting.

@12:22 --The man seen looking over Babe Ruth's left shoulder is Lou Gehrig--!! It’s unbilled, but he was with Babe Ruth when they filmed this scene (for "Speedy") on September 15, 1927......Crazy. History happens all around us; best be pay’in attention... I LOVED this series & saw it every weekend in the late 70's until about 1982... then these shows were gone~! About 20 years ago I wrote to Time-Life Televsion asking them about the status of these shows & they wrote back a reply saying the show was not in their holdings. So I'm glad they are turning up at last!!

Seeing Harold's cab called "Only One Cab Co." I'm wondering if there wasn't a comical significance to the expression "Only One" in those days that has been lost to history because Ring Lardner wrote a hysterically funny short story called "Only One" around the time this film came out. In that story, "Only One" was a race horse.
