Okay so here’s the thing about that, because I lived it I always say there’s a version of me that would’ve voted Trump. My first election I voted McCain it’s been a loooong road to get this far left 😅 But at my most conservative I was making 6.75 an hour (min wage was 6.15 when I started I was making an entire 60 cents more than minimum wage listening to talk radio hating on “those lazy poor people” sir you are one of those poor people! I worked sanitation at a potato processing plant on the weekends in high school. It was disgusting smelly work. It gave me a deep respect for osha and unions.

I have a graduate degree now but I worked at a chicken processing plant where my job was to pull the guts out of a freshly killed chicken that was going by hanging on and the assembly line of hooks, a tortilla factory where I cut and stacked tortillas by hand for 10 hours a day with just three small breaks and felt like I had gotten a promotion when I was transferred to the hot plate where you spin tortillas by hand on a hot griddle wearing just t h i n cotton gloves, a Hosiery manufacturer, Taco Bell, Burger King, and night shift doing the heavy duty janitor work in a hospital before I finished with a lot of stops along the way including being one of the toughest jobs on the planet which is a certified nursing assistant in a long-term care facility. those paid better than the Burger King but people just have no idea until they've actually tried to live on even a CNA or factory workers job Jerry the factory work paid the best but you could also be laid off in a heartbeat and at 1:49 I had to defy the boss to take a woman to to ER who was 5 months pregnant and hemorrhaging. Both of us rest our jobs and I was in the biggest risk because she had some legal protection. That's what it's like and no benefits because they'll work you just short of the number of hours required to get benefits and then lay you off just enough hours per week that you don't qualify right when you are about to and probation and have benefits. I could go on and on but you all who have done that kind of work know exactly what it's like and so the fact that Kamala makes it clear she does not but that she's fully aware of it shows integrity.

Working a service job builds character, which he has none of.

Anyone who looks down on someone for what they do is wrong. She definitely never worked there, she looks down on those workers, that's why she's claiming she did work there. She wants you to think she understands "real struggle." She doesn't, neither does Trump but he's not pretending he's been there. She's a straight up fraud

I’m 61 and very much agree! The last few years have been so chaotic and scary, I hope my kids will be able to enjoy life a bit more and worry less about their futures.
