My first thought was oh man Tim loves his babies so much and they know it 🥹

It’s crazy. It’s not like the people voted and chose either of these two. I mean the party is named after democracy and the way she got the nomination was the complete opposite of Democratic. But if I was Gus I’d be pumped too. He has a 50/50 shot to land a cushy job and become a millionaire after his dad let our city of Minneapolis burn, he let crime skyrocket, he created a hotline to call and get rewarded to rat out your neighbors if they had guests during the lockdown, he had protests outside of his house for weeks. Minneapolis used to be a thriving artistic community with great restaurants and bars and was just an awesome hang. Now everything on the ground level is boarded up, people use drugs right out in the open and there is litter, syringes, assaults and robberies everywhere. The people in power over the last 5 years have ruined a once great place. I can’t name one thing he did to deserve the VP nomination. But it has to be touching for Gus to see his dad finally get some applause. Just another Fortunate Son.

However, considering that Gus’ behavior has been critically and publicly labeled very negatively by some I’m glad Walz had the opportunity to support him.
