Harrison Bader says goodbye to Yankees before joining Reds 

Class act by Harrison Bader, he's definitely going to be missed.

I will truly miss Harrison Bader. Loved watching him play and to see him be emotional the fact he is leaving just shows you how much he really cared being apart of the Yankees. True class. Love you Bader, good luck to your future. Go ball out.

Stop this has me in tears bc he was getting emotional and you can tell how much he loved playing for the Yankees. “I have no idea what’s to come for the future and I certainly hope it’s in the Yankees uniform again if that’s an option”. I miss him being on the team already 🤧

This guy is the best. He feels for the Yankees and I am glad he will help the Reds, a historical franchise on MLB. Best wishes, we enjoyed each minute he played!

Such a bad move by the Yankees, Bader is the epitome of a Yankee with class, what the Yankees used to have and show. His heart, spirit and effort was needed by this club going forward. He deserved better. Yankee fans deserve better.

The way they did him is terrible. To find out your on the waiver wire while eating lunch in the lunchroom is disgusting. The Yankees front office should be ashamed of themselves. They could’ve at least told that man to his face.

Well spoken I say! He was a pleasure to watch play here and glad he was able to live out his dream. I particularly enjoyed his appearances in the post-season last year when he was right at the top of his game and seemed like he was destined to be a Yankee lifer. Wow. Classy. They didn’t even have the decency to tell him about the waivers. He had to see it on the TV And yet he still spoke so respectfully about the organization and his time in NY. If he had only been as successful this year as in the playoffs last year this would never have happened. Best of luck to you Harrison!
