I like the detail that Harry doesnt realize the second time his head is on fire. It is not just for comedic purposes, Harry has some 3rd degree burns of the first time his head was on fire.
@@adammilette3076That’s why full-thickness burns don’t hurt QUITE as much as 2nd-degree burns. Third-degree burns still hurt, just not as much as 2nd-degree, because of the nerve endings that do end up destroyed. Also: In the first “Home Alone” movie, Harry ends up with a big, black spot on the top of his head-that’s a severe 3rd-degree burn. There are four degrees of burns, and every degree comes with two, general levels: mild and severe. If you look closely enough, the frayed edges where Harry’s beanie USED 2 B whole reveal red skin-those are severe first-degree burns. If the skin is burned pink, with no blisters-it’s a mild first-degree burn. If the skin is red, with no blisters-it’s a “severe first.” 2nd degree burns always involve blistering. HOWEVER-if the burn injury turns the skin pink (mild 1st), turns the skin red (severe 1st), or causes blisters that heal without scarring (mild 2nd)-then any hair that gets burned off WILL grow back. If the skin is damaged badly enough that the blisters leave scars (severe 2nd)…then I’m not sure whether or not the hair would grow back because it’s VERY EASY to mistake a severe 2nd for a mild 3rd, and vice-versa. HOWEVER, ALL 3rd- and 4th-degree burns DO result in permanent hair loss at the site of the burn injury. ALL 3rd- and 4th-degree burns result in the destruction of the hair follicles at the site of the burn injury. So that black spot atop Harry’s head will become a very ugly-AND PERMANENT-bald spot.
The neighbors might not have heard anything at all. After all, everyone is celebrating Christmas. And if someone heard something, they decided that the children were playing around.
The burns he suffered in the first film likely destroyed the nerve endings in his scalp so he can no longer feel pain or anything on that part of his body
There was liquid petroleum on the toilet and we know it is flammable that's why (it's even saw in the earlier scenes where Kevin was building his booby traps for those two bad guys including Harry). The first one did also got his head on fire but he putted it on snow, which was actually just water crystals that didn't have enough time to melt due to the season and weather when the film was set.
@@theyusufshow9368 I know, but still, he dipped his head on an explosive material which is why he looked more terrible after attempting to extinguish the fire on his head in Home Alone 2 as compared to the first one.
Funny how Harry gets his head caught on fire - twice! And I love how he doesn't realize that his head's on fire the second time until he sees himself in the mirror.
2 of the best movies ever its all fun and games until someone gets hurt look out keep the laughs coming appreciate the memories and a good laugh a classic at Christmas time appreciate you guys thanks you guys rock ! Joe
That would be a really bad idea. Although it seems like the logical thing to do, if the burning wool of the beanie has come in contact with his skin they may have fused together, and taking off the beanie could take his scalp with it.
Home alone 1 - Harry gets a blow torch to his head when entering the back door of the house. Home alone 2 - history repeats itself but this time in an old bathroom of an abandoned apart building that was undergoing renovation
I'm surprised Harry actually survived that explosion after sticking his head in a toilet bowl full of gasoline! In reality, he would've been more than likely to be dead!
The stunt men who helped joe pesci and Daniel stern did a excellent job you guys rock still a classic to watch at Christmas time appreciate you guys and the memories still love and appreciate you guys thanks ! Joe
@0:52 once I bought duster for my computer and used the whole can. I didn't think they were allowed to use flammable gas for duster - so I lit insence ... immediately thought of that 🤣
