Get Southgate OUT fast. He's not upto the job. The players are to good. Kane needs to stay up the pitch. He's a striker he cant score from defence. Southgates tactics will never work with the talent england have.

Slovenia has only conceded their 2 goals from set-pieces but have scored & hit the woodwork at open-play at this tournament. England has scored more goals at set-pieces with either a defender like maguire/stones nodding in or a freekick specialist like Trippier in the past...as Maguire is not in the current squad i think we pretty much know who our likely scorers on Tuesday will be but I'm afraid of any defensive errors/counters-attack risks that will present.

Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Brazil, Argentina, all of them have won multiple tournaments since 2000. That's because they've all had decent managers at some point and know when to get rid of one when he's not up to the job. That's where England fail time and time again.

It is not lack of energy. The team clearly has no structure and doesn't know what to do, which is inexcusable as Southgate has been in charge for 8 years. He is a failed championship manager with no tactical nouse. It is the FAs fault. Portugal are the best team, followed by France. We are possibly third, so we have a chance despite Southgate.

England ex-players turned pundits are the most RECKLESS and utterly IRRESPONSIBLE ex-players in the world. They talk too much. Most of them never achieved anything meaningful as players and managers yet they’re always quick to criticize. No wonder England has never won any major trophy since 1966.

Southgate is too negative. It's what you get when you put a defender in charge of a team whose attacking is their biggest asset, you don't get to see the England that you should. Get a manager in that likes a team to press (please)
