I rather watch current players being interviewed by former players instead of TV hosts or Presenters. You can see how naturally Kane talks with Gary and that’s exactly what the fans like to see.
And I'd rather listen to real analysts talk about tactics and games, rather than ex-players who mostly stick to the same tropes like "they didn't play hard enough".
Yea but not when the ex player is gary neville who's desperately trying to push across the narrative of spurs being soft to force harry to go. Such low quality behaviour/tv. Creepy how he tries to be all paly paly with him to influence and persuade him to leave spurs and go to united.
I've been a Tottenham fan since 1985. Sheringham was with us for 166 appearances and won nothing. In three years at Man Utd, he had three Premier Leagues, a Champions League and an FA Cup. It's not Kane's fault, it is ours. We need to do better.
I wonder why this is not trending all over the internet. The media does not like comments like this when true professionals say positive things about Jose Mourinho. If it were to be a negative news, OMG, the breaking news will be all over the internet. RESPECT MAN RESPECT!!
Beyond everything, I appreciate Kane being brave, transparent, and honest and speaks his mind rather than playing a game with fans and media. These characteristics are lacking in today's footall.
@@walshknwsbest Spurs should be happy a worldclass player stayed that long at a club that doesn't win any trophies. Kane needs to win things to be happy with his career so he should leave 100%.
To be honest, as a non-native speaker, I did have a hard time trying to understand him speaking at first. But, I think its just a perception I (subconciously) made from hearing what other people say. I understand him 100% now, dont even need subtitles!
Harry Kane just seems like a decent lad, doesnt deserve any of the hate he gets. Even his assessment of American sports is true, their athletes are allowed to be themselves more. If a British player slips up once or even uses a slang word in an interview the tabloids have the knives out immediately
Refreshing to see such a gent in modern football. As a Spurs fan, I’ll be sad to see Harry leave but wish him well. He deserves a fruitful career. Good luck hazza!
Well said! I think he's a decent local fella whose turned into real top quality, world class player! And he's been a genuine loyal servant to Spurs,so wherever he ends up i wish him all the best,&good luck to him!
@@15xChampions Don't act as if Madrid and the fans haven't treated him like dirt lmao. You can't house an amazing player, have him win you a few trophies, treat him like trash and then act like the victim.
@@namenotimportant7988 How these tottenham fans are saying Bale is playing for them is howhe was playing for us when ronaldo left. And if not for injuries he'd have played more. And stop generalizing millions of madrid fans. I am a diehard Madrid fan and Bale is a club legend who will always have my respect. You really need to realize there is an agenda against Real Madrid in the media especially the English. We are just hated because we are succesful.
This channel is going to pop soon. Garry is such a great guy for interviews and football in general. If these exclusive interviews continue, it’s going to be massive.
No idea why there aren't hour long interviews like this for most players. I know clubs don't want them saying anything unprofessional but they're still people, not just their job. Outside too, let's people feel free. Hopefully more of these to come.
Great interview. I’m a spurs fan but I fully respect Kane’s honesty in his desire to succeed. We can’t give him what he wants so he’s well within his rights to want to leave. He’d have my blessing to go to Man City
Gary neville to harry kane: "its floppy, soft, nice, got a touch to it" Hary kane: "go in, go in' I wasnt looking at the screen at the time so that sounded a bit strange lol
What an absolute class act this lad is, as a Spurs fan I love him and to see him leave would be devastating. Brilliant interview gary sets him at ease and the talk flows well done all round
Best interview with an active (I.e not retired) player at their peak that I have ever seen. Great job, and kudos to Harry for his honesty, openness and down to earth nature :).
Humble, mature, hard working & grounded. They dont make them like this anymore, this man deserves much success. Hopefully Levy won't be a stumbling block in his career.
Harry has kind words about Mauricio, on how he made the players feel great and played well. That is what you call a great mentor. Harry I wish you the best for the future!
Gary Neville conducted this interview so we’ll, really seemed to make Harry feel at ease while asking the difficult questions everyone wants to hear answers to. Top stuff.
De bruyne really is special. I hope he wins enough in his career for him to get the recognition he deserves. Right up there with the best players ever imo.
This is the best sports interview channel I’ve come across. As a Tottenham fan it’s also nice to watch such an in depth and honest interview with H. What an incredible player with champion mentality
Harry enjoy your future at Manchester city FC, you deserve some silverware, Tottenham Hotspur got close with 2 league chases, and 2 finals that went the other way, we will always love you Harry Kane no matter where you go next, god bless you sir !!
People need to make a bigger fuss about the fact that this class interview, which the maker knew would attract views, has ZERO ads. You have my respect!
I love how Gary asks the questions we actually want to hear the answers to, not questions set out prior to a discussion. Great content and glad to be a part of this new channel. Thanks Gaz
I wish Harry all the best and hope he goes on to win trophies. We all know at Spurs this won't happen for years yet. Most of the current squad are not good enough nor have any fighting spirit to win and is a total rebuild. I pray Levy won't drag this transfer out but if he does Spurs supporters will be behind you. Gary I think your passion and honesty is brilliant. Good video, should have called it "When Harry met Gary" :)
I'm a fan of the England national football team, I even cried when England lost the final game in the EURO 2020. When I was a student in high school the first national football team I watch was England since then my love for England has been growing bigger and bigger. Kane was the one who impressed me. He's the best and humbling captain. England is one of the strongest teams in the world, unfortunately, they have not won the tournaments. However, they currently have a good head coach and many talented players in the squad I hope in the world cup 2022 they can make their country proud. Wish you the best England and also Kane.
This is one of the best, most entertaining interviews I've seen in a long time. Playing a funny game of Golf and throwing in the odd joke/banter here and there. I hope Gary will do more of these types of interviews while playing these kinds of sports/activities
It's to the credit of this interview, the interviewer and the general style of this interview, that this is the most I've seen Harry ever allowed to talk without being interrupted, talked over, or diverted to something else immediately after giving a simple answer- Brilliant insight, excellently done.
Fascinating to hear Harry... his commitment to his craft, (trained for 3 months using only his left peg etc). His drive for perfection and learning which will only get better probably working with Pep. He will lead by example and will likely win a pile of medals. He brings more to a team than just a striker; leadership, goals, assists, knowledge and experience, having worked with a few decent managers already, winners mindset. He will be great in bringing on younger players too. I think any of big teams will be foolish to pass him up. I can see him going into management too once his playing days are over.
Brilliant interview, it’s refreshing to see a current player coming out and talking so candidly. More of this please. (With ex players as interviewers and not journos)
Perfect interview with our fans fave player. We will miss him at Spurs but he deserves more. We failed him. Also the fact that this has zero ads is class. Respect that.
And as Spurs fan as you say, I hope you’ve now know that Jose Mourinho was not the problem. He didn’t loose the dressing room as you people were made to believe
That was great, best interview I've seen with a player in a long time, seemed very open and honest in how he answered everything. Wish we'd get more like that
5:30 Very telling about Jose Mourinho. He does better with self-driven players. If you need a father figure or a shoulder to cry on, then Jose is not the one. He will simply cut you out of the team, and find somebody who is self-driven. LOL
Eh no At Chelsea, Jose often texted or called players, asking about their families. He knew a lot of personal details about their lives. even keeps in touch with some today, like drogba, Terry etc, and hugged all the players as he left. A great man manager back then, who fostered an us against the world mentality. A shoulder for them to cru on
Brilliant to hear he practiced so hard for 3 months just on his left foot finishing and he saw the benefits of it. Sick of players who repeatedly try to get the ball onto their favourite foot. Some players don't seem to have a lot of the basic skills of the game. They are just lucky they are around when 5here is so much money sloshing around in the game.
@@En1_1 You've completely missed my point. Harry kane said he spent 3 months concentrating on his weaker foot until it was to a good standard. Young kids spend years at academies and once they come out of them their weak foot is still weak. If they worked on their weak foot it would eventually be almost on a par with their main foot. So many players work to get the ball onto their strong foot and that is when seconds are lost and chances are gone. Look at James milner. Can't cross with his left. So always has to stop. Check onto his right foot and then crosees. In the Premier league one second is an eternity and this second often gives defences time to get back. Being two footed is a basic skill. Or should be for a footballer. I always wonder what players do in training. Apparently not a lot seems to be the answer. None of the players seem to be able to head the ball these days. Most avoid heading it. But that may be due to avoiding dementia in later life. But even the most basic levels of ball control and passing are frequently woefully inadequate these days. Too many work more on their 6 packs than their actual football skills.
@@redmed10 this just isn’t correct. If your tryna suggest people were less one footed in the past, that is straight horse shit. Look at these new players. The likes of foden, mount, Saka, greenwood, dembele, sancho, rashford, rayan cherki, dominik slobozlai. Compare to the likes of Giggs, rivaldo, and all them were ridiculously one footed. I disagree with this. This isn’t a problem
@@En1_1 Oh I give up. I never once suggested players were less one footed in the past. What I'm saying is being two footed should be the norm. If you don't agree, fine. See ya and take care.
Quality interview, so refreshing listening to a candid conversation with him. More of this please! We're all sick of the overprofessionalism in football
"When I watch De Bruyne play hes special. Some of the balls I see put in for man city are a strikers dream if im honest" lool he didnt even try to hide it. He just said Man City please come buy me 56:25
This is the kind of chats we need with players just natural free flowing in a different enviroment. Got to know so much about Harry Kane as a Person and Player. Really good watch.
Harry Kane seems like a great lad, and needless to say, he is an outstanding football player. I just hope and pray Man Utd pull their fingers out, and sign him up quick, before anyone else swoops in.
1st United needs him bad, 2nd glad he plays for us now, 3rd we buy a Kane Jersey for our 4 year old tomorrow. I don't care if he wins any trophy at all in his career. Probably the most clinical striker to ever play the game and I saw them all. @@En1_1
Great interview. Great round of golf. Watched the entire clip. Gary didn’t seem to run out of ideas what to ask, without script. Well done. And Harry looked like a very nice, honest bloke. And he is 2 HCP golfer! Wow.
@@James-ec5vw Have you not watched his commentary on MUTV, aka Sky Sports? He sulks like a child when United are losing, then is bouncing off the walls when United score. A good pundit is able to be impartial and leave their bias at the door. Football fans are a bit dim and don’t see it with Gary. He’s awful.
@@voiceofreason8656 He spent his career at United, it’s no secret that he’s a huge United fan, so what’s the point of pretending to be impartial. The Liverpool vs United rivalry between him and Carra is one of the reasons they get such high viewing figures. Also you’re wrong he gives rival teams credit when it’s due. Don’t be bitter, he’s class.
It says how big jordan was as a inspiration to everybody not just nba players he inspired everybody to be great work hard and get better top 3 greatest athletes of all time no doubt
@Mosaab I wasn't aware of him having a speech impediment, sounds like a lot of people in the UK. Not everyone needs to be great at communication, there is too much emphasis on presentation skills and not enough on results.
