i just realised this song is one of the loudest in the whole album album, not only the "second wife"parti which is pretty obvious, but they are talking about how they went very far on their careers and got a lot of money for it, but were remembering how it was at the start when they first got together and there wasn't so much pressure from the management on trying to cover it up, and now they have everything and are rich but are not really happy with out each other ( if happiness is always measured By the life you design, that car on the drive Then you should feel better than ever But you know as well as I, it's all lies) and the song tittle has a lot to do with only the brave, which is also a pretty gay song
I still believe in them... I can feel something deep inside me when they are together and i can't explain it and got addicted to it that even now I'm here waiting for some revelation or just more hint and i regret nothing.

I never saw this song as a Larry song, although I am a Larrie. Because, it feels like it was something a mother would say to her child. And maybe this was from Louis' mom's, RIP, perspective. I don't think that it's for Harry. I think it's for Louis from his mom... Just my opinion. I mean, people can interpret the exact thing in different ways, but this is mine. I also feel like this song is perfect from our perspective to Louis and Harry, when we ask them if they really are happy... I feel like this was written in a time when Louis' was reviving memories of his mother and she was comforting him when he was overwhelmed by all the fame, the constraints on his freedom due to his image of being in a boyband, or when he was like sad and always busy and like, not really having time to enjoy himself (we know what management did to them.) Maybe he was sad from hiding his love for Harry... So like, when he felt that he should keep pushing himself into all this and giving up going against all this, his mom might have asked him "do you still remember feeling young"... and "strong enough to get it wrong in front of all these people".... It's just my interpretation.😅 I don't think it's right, but I tried... But I strongly feel this is not about Larry... No hate, you can have your opinion :)

i know everyone's saying this song is about harry, but i think it's louis reflecting on his young self and wondering how he was ever like that, and it's really sad, because louis is so much sadder then he was at 18 and it really makes me sad for him.
That's understandable though, not only is he no longer 18, he's a grown man now who has also had tragedy in his young life. You see it in his eyes that he's different now because of those things, not to mention Harry, Syco, Cowell, Modest, and the rest of the bullshit he's had to put up with in his young life.

I always believed this song was about Harry. “The life you design” is about those Gucci designer suits. “The car that you drive” is about all of Harry’s expensive cars. “The second wife” is referencing one beard after another. There’s nothing wrong with Harry working with Gucci or having fancy cars, but the point Louis is making is that these things doesn’t make one happy. Being young is about going for it and finding joy in being with people who love & care for you, not having expensive things. Being open enough to make mistakes in front of people, as opposed to being so guarded that you don’t answer questions during an interview. I am a big fan of Harry, but getting in with the Azoffs, is almost like selling his soul to the devil. He needed to be away from Simon & that bunch, but I believe the Azoffs have isolated him. He can’t be seen with the other guys or mention them in interviews. If he thinks that their control over his life is worth the fame and fortune, then that’s sad.

There's a few unkind things being said about Harry and he took a lot of crap and I think had it worse than the others in the band and they both say in their songs that they both made mistakes and we all know that Harry says this is about the first time he broke up with me before he sings two ghosts so yes I think he's had a hard time and we don't need negativity thrown at either one of them as it will incite a backlash against Harry by those who see fit.I get Louis thoughts but Harry was a Gucci trend setter and he can buy what ever he wants so we don't need to pick needless arguments !

Louis is such a talented songwriter and the most authentic of the 1D members, in my opinion, I always was more drawn to Louis more than others in the band. He's gorgeous and sweet and I love this song, his album is amazing.
