Having lost my husband to that awful cancer, I am fully aware. He had a particularly virulent form of cancer and at no point could have survived longer than 5 years, he made 2. Therefore I understand that Catherine is in a far better place than he ever was and I hope and pray for her continued recovery. It will take time. With Charles, because of his age, he could live with cancer for a number of years without it progressing further. With Catherine because of her youth, where cancer is much more virulent, she has to have aggressive treatment for it to work and it will, I have immense faith in her and her family. She has fought it with fortitude and courage and I think she will make it, but she needs to take time and give her body time to heal. As to that grotty little madam, all these puff pieces do nothing but amplify what a horrid, shallow woman she is. I am so fed up with that pair and their aggression for what? For not getting what they wanted? Give me a break, most of us don't get all what we want in life. I didn't want to be a widow in my 50's, but you accept adversity, you grow from it and you make sure you do not become bitter and twisted like those two.

My husband too had a very aggressive form of cancer, cholongiocarcinoma . He only survived 8 weeks after diagnosis and we were told it was terminal when he got diagnosed. Chemo would’ve only have been palliative but he got pneumonia & sepsis before he even started it. Not all cancers are equal so you’re right. Those men with prostrate cancer for instance can live with it for years and years. Often dying from something else. Many have very good treatments these days. Sadly we were told that wasn’t the case for my husband. He was 59 when he died. I was 57.

You have my sympathies. Cancer is evil. I married at 33 and my husband was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer just after our second anniversary and died five months later. That was decades ago now, but I still look back in total disbelief sometimes.

As an American, I am also thankful that Harry was born second. If Harry hated being the "Spare", he should be publicly thanking the Wales children, since the very second that Prince George was born, the little royal infant relieved Harry of the burden of Sparehood. Catherine has been in the British Monarchy since April 2011, a little over thirteen years. She became a full time working royal in July 2017, just seven years ago. Up to then, for the first six years of her marriage, she lived an almost entirely private life, with more than ample time to adjust to married life as a royal. Her work, as a senior royal for the last seven years, has in no way been onerous, with Catherine doing about a quarter of the engagements done by other royals, including the King, Princess Anne, Sophie and Edward, and the Gloucesters. No previous working royal woman has had the amount of time off to spend with her family that Catherine has had. Catherine has done an admirable job, has always been elegant and beautifully behaved, and is indeed a credit to the UK. She is handling her illness in an exemplary manner, and is fortunate to have the very best of care, and to not have to return to work during her recovery, unlike so many. Catherine is an excellent woman in many ways, but it is a bit premature to describe her as great after seven years' work. The late Queen might be a better recipient of that accolade, after her seventy years of extraordinary service. Catherine should be allowed to reach her potential, and to make her contribution, before giving her empty titles.

I got cancer at age 32, luckily caught in the early stages. I was cancer free for 25 years and it returned this year with a vengeance, going from stage 2 to stage 4 within 3 months. Fortunately my cancer is caused by a mutant gene and cutting edge medicine, called targeted inhibitors, is now available and it is keeping my cancer in check, allowing me to live a relatively normal life. The Princess of Wales needs to keep her head down, do what is necessary and, most importantly, stay positive. A positive attitude is our best friend in these situations. Life is good!❤

Good day Lady C. Love your channel. I've been more concerned about Princess Catherine's mental health. The diagnosis would set anyone back. I recently received an end date that came from an error in diagnostics. First week, I was in denial. I didn't feel sick. Second week I was freaking out. I'm retired, had a great life and got to meet my great granddaughter. So ok. My mental and physical being is still in shock, even with a good report, two months later. Princess Catherine is still in the mess of it. Prayers for her speedy return to full health❤

My nephew was recently diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer that metastisized to his liver. He went to Sloan Kettering Cancer Institute in New York. They did a biopsy and it turned out he has the rarest type that can be treated even tho it has spread. We are so grateful that there is hope and he is doing well with hormonal treatments.

I saw the picture of him at the airport. I think it was at Heathrow and he had his passport out and it's a diplomatic passport. It's blue with gold writing and said Diplomat on it. So that means the US taxpayers have been paying for their security since they've been here! I also saw two Royal Protection Officers with them in Columbia-it was so dangerous they had their lapel pins on. I also saw two Secret Service agents with them too with their lapel pins on in Columbia. Christopher Sanchez was Michelle Obama's Secret Service Agenct.I don't believe he retired and is running a private security firm. My former neighbor contracted bladder cancer in his late 50s, took treatment and ate the veggie-rich diet his wife created for him and succumbed to Alzheimer’s in his early 90s. Cancer never revisited. It’s not always an early death sentence.

My husband was married before. When I came into the family, I let my husband know that I wasn't receiving the open arms and warm welcome I thought I deserved. Like Meghan, I was very immature. My husband explained that it won't happen overnight.They all dearly loved his first wife! Give them time to get to know me. Patience is a virtue, etc. We have been married 33 years! I think Lady C should be considered for an award for her intelligent and entertaining performances. I would love to see her host Saturday Night Live and star in a skit. I doubt she would accept that, but one can dream.

Lady C, thank you, enjoy the ballet. Prayers that Catherine continues to improve. However, I fail to understand how Catherine's demise (it hurts to even write that) would benefit h&m. I firmly believe that William would focus on the children and duty, and if needed once king, call upon his cousins for state occasions, etc. He would have no need of the treasonous duo.

Also, anyone can lose their much-loved spouse and still go on to live a good life. Sadly, bad things happen to all. The idea that William would pine away and not ever find another suitable companion is ridiculous. Many people have survived such loss, and so would William. However, I know as an Oncology Data Specialist, (second career) that many people survive cancer and live normal lives. What Lady C said is correct. Doctors will not say you are cancer free (NED--no evidence of disease) for at least five years. They will continue to do scans and tests to make sure cancer has not returned. That being said, I think Catherine is looking well. She may have more treatments to undergo, (although I suspect she has finished her chemo), but she looks great to me. This is ridiculous talk about her lifespan. Very bad form, and something her children hopefully don't hear.

@@cherfromtn8225 Agreed. My husband was diagnosed in 2010, given 5 yrs (prostate cancer), and he is only now under the care of our fantastic local St Barnabas Hospice, yes he is end of life care, but until a few weeks ago, lived a full and healthy life despite radiotherapy and chemo.

I had a 18 month old with stage 2 Whilm's tumor (kidney cancer) He had that kidney removed (nephrectomy) followed by 25 rads of radiation and chemotherapy for 18 months. He is now 49 years old and hasn't had a recurrence or any other type of cancer. I always look forwards and enjoy your programme Lady C. I have no doubt that Catherine is receiving the best of treatment.

I went through Cancer The First Time when I was 36 in 1986, Brest Cancer Chemo, Radiation and Reconstructive Surgery. I was Cancer Free for 34 years. I then went through Uterine Cancer 1year 6 Months ago Chemo and Radiation again. I'm now 74 almost 75 I'm doing fine. I Personally Believe a lot of your Recovery is in your own Outlook an Attitude Towards Life. I don't know how much more time I have, but I try to make the most out of every day and look forward to all of my tomorrow's. 🙏🕊️🌹🥀🌼🌻☕💜❤️👍

The King was looking very perky during his recent official welcome at Balmoral by the Royal Regiment of Scotland. He was walking more energetically, had good colour in his face, smiled and chatted with various soldiers and members of the public, and appeared to be enjoying himself. Inconceivable that he has abdication on his mind, especially as he is still playing a prominent role behind the scenes to promote his life-long favourite causes, notably global climate and environment.

Personal experience with regards Catherine's illness. In the early 70's my father was diagnosed with lung cancer. He went through a series of radiation therapy treatments and then took a break to recover. Then he went in for surgery and the cancerous segment of his lung was removed. While he was recovering from the surgery he had a seizure. The tumor had metastasized to his brain. Eight more radiation treatments, he lost the remaining hair he had....and he recovered. A coworker in the hospital for the same thing, treated the same way, at the same time died from his illness. My father didn't have time to die. He had me to get through college and he had to meet his first grandchild. We got twenty more years out of those treatments.... and they were 'grosser' than the treatments given these days. Catherine has things to do.... she's not going anywhere without a fight.

We all love the royal family. King Charles, queen Camilla, prince William, Princess Catherine and their family, we have great respect and love for them in the UK. But his own son in USA and his dreadful wife have no respect or love for them they are a disgrace in my opinion. The lack of respect is atrocious I.M.O.

I am convinced that the Royal Family and their courtiers know far more about Harry and Meghan's conduct and personality traits than we will ever know. Just imagine, we are horrified with the details that are already public, but just imagine how the Palace feels knowing the full picture. Just imagine what went on behind those closed doors. No wonder the Royal family are setting themselves apart from Harry and Meghan so they themselves and their conduct, will, over time, demonstrate the real Harry and Meghan, and since Mexit, we've already seen quite enough thank you.

I was diagnosed fourth stage NHL and CLL in 2005. I'm still very much alive and flourishing in life. It all depends upon treatments, eating correctly, and belief in one's survival. Catherine, most likely has many years of life in front of her.
