God there were so many versions of this game it was ridiculous, and each one had something better than the others, I think some gameplay aspects were so much better in the ps2 version, but the GameCube version just had more expressive cutscene animations

This seems like the best version. The ones on the other platforms kind of downgraded it. I have heard that this is like the cool beta version of the game.
