I love how this theme was used for Dumbledore AND Snape. It describes them perfectly. Two lonely, damaged and morally complicated men who lived a life full of regrets and never experienced any kind of healthy relationship.They were very similar.

And yet, we cannot forget that Dumbledore was viewed by all as the best person until Rita Skeeter exposing him. He sure had a hard life, but we cannot forget he DID do some very evil things with Grindelwald. Snape on the other hand, was considered by all as a traitor, the only person who knew his good side was Dumbledore, (and later Harry) and he was not even given a proper farewell. I am not hating on Dumbledore, I am just telling how the public viewed them despite them leading almost similiar lives. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Thank You.

Harry didn't realize it at the time, but the man he ran after calling coward was the last person standing between him and Voldemort. It cost Snape everything to prove how much he truly loved Lilly, and in the end, Harry finally realized that Severus Snape was his most important ally. And the bravest man he ever knew. Rest in peace, Michael Gambon.

Did anyone else notice that the each movie got progressively less colorful as they went on? I think this was done on purpose, to convey the ever-growing seriousness and actuality that Voldemort could kill them all. It became less of, "Oh, we're kids, and magic is cool!" and more "oh crap there is an extremely powerful wizard out there who wants to kill us" and I think it was a really subtle but really smart move.

usually what I noticed is that when Luna and the other really innocent and younger characters are on screen, it seems more colorful and bright. even their clothing seems more saturated then the older students. this is what I personally noticed until the last movie, where everyone looked hopeless and dull and colorless until after Voldemort died. and then still afterwards some of the older ones look a little less saturated. like the sadness of all those years was stuck inside them. also side note. poor first years in the last movie. they had no freaking idea it was gonna be this way. like... "oh hey finally we're at wizarding school! but why is there a war and everyone is dieing and shiz? We dont know any magic!"

I know that probably all of us (Potterheads) know this feeling, when we hear a Soundtrack like this: it is so Sad and we will imediatelly cry. It really needs much talent to write such a masterpiece. Every time i hear it, it reminds me at Dumbledores death and Severus how he is holding Lily in his hands. Thank you for all the emotional soundtracks.

No one is ever black or white, no one is ever good or bad. Dumbledore was a role model to me and was so much to me in terms of a fictional character. As I learned what he had done and what he had gone through I had to learn this lesson all too harshly. Dumbledore was willing to offer his own life for a cause, of which he did not know the outcome, but he was also willing to do the same with the life of others. I still want to be like him. The wisest people have to go through so much to get where they are... So long ago I read Harry Potter, yet it lives in my heart like I never stopped reading, in the music - the music of the films I don't wish to see. Oh God, if there is one, please never let this universe die...
