@@nutterbutterpop8193 It's certainly not human! But technically it might not be AI. It could be text-to-speech, which has been around for a looooooong time. In fact, I think it probably is because modern AI that I've heard sounds more human-like than this.

I do alot if audio books and this is one of the worst. I finished book 2 before this, not bad at all. This one is absolutely AWFUL. I understand ai limitations but why is this one so much worse? How does it know to prounce hermoine correctly half the time but still mispronounces it a ton why all the awkward pauses?
If you actually take a look of the real book you'll see it has some mistakes too, that's why it misspronounces it. But if you don't like the ai voicr reading to you, why don't you actually read the book yourself?
What is with the upvoted comments praising this, this shit is awful. I don’t get how people can listen to this when the AI doesn’t annunciate like a real person. It’s like trying to listen to a person with a deep foreign accent, you can make out what they say but it’s difficult and frustrating
