The Quidditch commentator's name is Lee Jordan btw and he's mentioned quite a bit in the books being the best friend of the Weasley twins. He's the official narrator of Quidditch matches for his whole time at Hogwarts and even does a radio show at one point. If this took place in 2023 you know that boy would have a RU-vid channel lol.

Harry Potter is my comfort re read. When I'm sick, sad, bored or just in need of familiarity I pick up a HP book. They're so entertaining and comforting. When each of my kids turned 11 they got their own hardback set to read. I loved reading along with them.

I'm sorry but with the movies be so much more popular no one really knows Ron. Ron in the books is a great character. They butchered his character and made him comic relief and gave a lot of his best moments to other characters specifically Hermione. It irks me so bad because I didn't really understand it as a kid why I always really wanted a friend like Ron when I read the books and just thought movie Ron was an idiot. If there is any actual reason to remake the HP movies it's to fix movie Ron.

They destroyed Drako as a character in the movies he became to nice. He is a real bully in the books, because he is supposed to be. I love Tom as an actor but because of his looks he became the opposite of what the character was supposed to be. And then don't get me started on Ron I'm sorry but with the movies be so much more popular no one really knows Ron. Ron in the books is a great character. I remember my 5th grade reading teacher, Mrs. Billingsly, reading this book to us for the first time; that was in 1998/99 & I’ve been a HP fan ever since. Great series!

Lee Jordan is one of my absolute favorite characters in the books. I wish they could've captured all of the "colorful" dialogue and commentary during quidditch matches, he's one of the funniest characters in the entire series IMO.

You're going to hear similarities with Star wars because the score was made by John Williams, who also made the score for Star wars. He composed the music for the first 3 movies. Then the composer changed after that. But the iconic theme is his.

The fact I literally kinda grew up with them as the movies went on these are dead ass my childhood I'm 23 going on 24 this year and every year I watch every single movie they just get better and darker as they go on love you guys yall are like big brothers Rob being the most annoying but you love him anyways lol I don't have a favorite you guys all are great and bring something to the channel yall remind me of my friend group just with girls and these are the best because if you read the books she made sure to not take to much out which is why they are so long but so worth it

Fun fact, everywhere else in the world, it was released under the name "Harry Potter & the Philosopher's Stone". But someone in production thought the US public wasn't intelligent enough to understand the implications of the name, because the Philosopher's Stone has a very real history in human culture. "philosopher's stone, in Western alchemy, an unknown substance, also called “the tincture” or “the powder,” sought by alchemists for its supposed ability to transform base metals into precious ones, especially gold and silver. Alchemists also believed that an elixir of life could be derived from it." Thus, they changed the name for USA audiences only, which actually ended up just confusing people because now the book and the movies technically have 2 different names across various media. Lol

I was around 10 or 11 and before that my mom would read us the Harry Potter books before bed, she loved them so a chunk of the time she kept reading it not noticing we were asleep lol, but I wasn’t really understanding it back then so I decided to read them myself around 14. Percy Jackson, Harry Potter and The keys to the kingdom were my obsession for my childhood
