Never say Never! Twilight and The hunger games had a huge reaction like this and they came out after Harry Potter. There's always a chance another great book could ignite the masses the way many books have in the past.

It was common knowledge before the book was out that Dumbledore would die in this book. Spoilers don’t necessarily spoil a story at all. Studies have shown that if people are pre warned of certain plot elements, it increase’s anticipation while consuming the media. It’s in its own way a “Dramatic Irony” to know more as the audience than the characters do.
This was the first HP book where I wold enough to go to the midnight release. I remember how captivated I was. I’m still captivated by the series today. Seeing those old cathode ray tube computer monitors really shows how far in the past this really is!
