I felt terribly sad when Richard Harris, Robbie Coltrane, Alan Rickman, John Hurt, Michael Gambon, Robert Hardy, and numerous others had passed. This with Dame Maggie Smith just breaks my heart. In memoria perpetua; swish and flick! When I saw the animated painting on the wall of Professor McGonagall smiling and moving, I really began to weep, though with a soft, wistful sigh of fond remembrance: a sweetly wonderful gesture that; my fervent gratitude to those who gave her that touching commemorative.

I'm a 60 year old lady from Florida , I remember Maggie Smith many years ago , I watched her in a movie called the prime of Miss Jean Brodie , she was such an elegant , magical , talented lovely beautiful lady , I'm an absolute total fan of the Harry Potter movies , Maggie played her part beautifully ... The thing I ever saw her in was Harry Potter followed by Clash of the Titans and Hook. I’m going to start Downton Abbey tomorrow. She was a wonderful woman both on screen and off. Farewell Professor McGonagall as you journey onto your next great adventure.

Every morning when I start my workday, I sit in my office and pick something to listen to while I plan out my day. Today I picked this video and couldn't seem to pull myself away from looking at all the details in this video. I realized I had a smile on my face, and a sadness in my heart. I stopped for a moment and realized that I, in a small but meaningful way, was mourning the loss of someone I never knew, but apparently meant more to me than I had given credit. Thank you Maggie Smith for helping bring to life a character and a world that have brought me comfort and peace throughout my life. ❤

This is really special, thank you. I usually enjoy listening to Harry Potter Ambience while working, and I keep the video open to glance at, to keep me sane. This was the first time I could not look at the video because I teared up every single time I looked at it. Tyler, thank you so much for doing this for us. Like so many I appreciate Maggie Smith, and all her entire body of work for decades . I could not imagine anyone else being professor McGonagle and she added so much to Harry Potter. Whenever i rewatch the Harry Potter movies i feel like am part of this magical world filled with lovable characters and friendships. Maggie Smith's charm and optimism made me feel less lonely and to always look for the positives in life. Our headmistress has entered the beyond, but may her smile shine eternal in her frame in Hogwarts castle next to the others who so famously preceeded her, Albus and Severus. They have been reunited with so many others including our own caretaker, Hagrid. May they all rest in peace 🥺😔🧙‍♀️

"To the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure'', one I'm sure Maggie Smith wouldn't shy away from, especially if it means reuniting with her Headmaster at Kings Cross to continue...on. Wouldn't doubt that Warner Bros includes a tribute portrait for Michael Gambon and Maggie Smith in the upcoming Hogwarts Legacy sequel the same way they provided a gravestone for Robbie Coltrane next to his Hut after he passed. I think one of the saddest parts about Dame Maggie Smith passing away is she was a major part of my childhood. The breadth and warmth she brought to Professor McGonagals character was tangible and inspirational.
