Harry Reeder: Gender & Sexuality 

I only discovered this pastor online last year.Brings a year to my eye that he has gone on to glory.Condolences and prayer from northern Australia to his wife,family, friends and congregation.😢

Harry Reeder was my pastor when I lived in Charlotte NC. Fantastic exegetor who taught me to love the Word of God and to let scripture interpret scripture. He was also a fantastic pastor who remembered my name after first meeting me when I started to attend Christ Covenant, passing my name on to another parishioner who was also an artist and who reached out to me and became my first friend at the church.

This was a great Sermon. Ligonier need to invite Dr Reeder back more often

After I was saved I listened to Harry Reeder on my AM car radio as I travelled each day around Charlotte. He is/was such a solid teacher and I’m thankful I listened to him after my salvation.

My denomination is moving towards capitulation because we believe cultural relevance is essential and the purpose of the church is cultural transformation. Our leadership continually asks us how we are taking responsibility for the community. The way is cultural accommodation. When Reeder said it should be ethics which shape morals, but now we let the prevailing morals shape the ethics a light went on. No wonder revising scripture is so critical. God help us. We stand on the shoulders of centuries of scholarly saints who exalted God and let the Word shape them - they dared not tamper with the MESSAGE.

I love Pastor Reeder. He was my pastor in Charlotte. Wanted to go to the conference this year to see him but having RA prevented me.

Yes, Pastor you said it best. Their is no scripture more hated than, The Book of Genesis. Two words the LGBTQ plus group. Can’t run from, Man/Woman. No matter 🤔 which way they turn. First, the woman is to be submissive to her husband. She is not allowed to divorce her husband for any reason (1 Cor. 7:10) and if she does disobey God and get a divorce, she is to either remain unmarried or reconcile back with him when possible (1 Cor. 7:11a, Matthew 5:31-32). That means a woman cannot divorce her husband for abuse or adultery. Second, only men can be pastors, teachers, or church elders. The Bible talks about men being leaders and travelers having a right to bring their wives. It does not say that women who were evangelists had the right to bring their husband. So, there is a gender (male) only ministry part of the church. Women were to stay at home and raise the children. Being that women were staying at home (homemakers) many women received persecution from unbelieving (or back slidden) husbands. They were told to submit to them and to remain married. Not to separate from them (1 Cor. 7:2-8) unless the husband agrees and only for a short period of time. So, a woman separating from her husband for abuse would be unbiblical. She can use some wisdom, but most of these types of women received persecution at home, and not out in the public arena. Men were to work out in the field to provide for the wife and children at home (Gen. 3). It was his curse alone. Not the women. She was cursed with pain in child bearing and obeying her husband who had rule over her.

Therefore God's soverignty is unleashed on the wicked as "ones" time is up unto the removal of "grace". Our time is Not our time as we ALL are , are on God's time unto fathoming one's destination of the seriousness of one's soul. See also (2 Thesalonians chapter 2 verses 10,11,12) on those "deceived" by God as time runs out on those who will "accept" the mark of the beast. It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of an angry God , a God of total absolution in soverignty in fathoming this seriousness & Power placed OVER everyone & everything. This should be where anyone reading this exalt/teaching I'm giving AWAKENS to the seriousness & value to their eternal soul & starts to follow Christ that IS God's "Word", John 1:14 . What a powerful parable to the mystery to understand , receive, "made manifested"! Glory to God. # Roman's 10:17, Matthew 4:4, Galatians 2:20.

While many things Harry Reeder said true, one criticism I have is that some of the things he was saying sounded more like the ignorant trying to teach the clueless. For example, he kept saying LGBTQ and then after that would keeps saying “AI” or “AI+” in a rather disparaging tone of voice. I wonder if he knows what those letters stand for or if he cares. “I” stands for Intersex and it is a very real a legitimate medical condition in which many people with Intersex condition have been treated like monsters or something. From my understanding there are 30 types of Intersex conditions that a person can have. And then “A” stands for allies or advocates. On most anything I have seen “A” is normally listed last. Allies or advocates are those who are sympathetic or supportive of LGBTQIA. Some people do use more letters than that. I what I had said sounds hard. Yet I think commenting on this is appropriate since this is presented as public teaching and the person teaching should understand what they are talking about. I am sure there many things he does understand but seems to be lacking in knowledge or ignoring an important factor of the discussion.

Rev 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues. When the raptuure takes place, and God's people are out of harms way, America will be completely and utterly annihilated, no-one will survive, they will die whereever they are on the freeway, in the stores, anywhere there is a person they will die right there, they will die in place. they will noit be buried, their carcases will rot whereever they die, thankfully those who give their heart and life to Christ enduring unto the end will not stay here for that eventuality. America is doomed, if Yellowstone goes off in a major big way, it could take out most of America by itself, and whatever is left Russia and China could finish off with a few nukes. When this happens those who witness it first hand will know they provoked the Lord into such judgment.

In all respect, this verbally clever preacher made me laugh, weep, and pray but he did not teach me how to live as Christ in this world. When I am asked to vote, to work, to be with others, how do i respond positively to all kinds of real questions.
