I find this song very underrated. It is so beautiful. Perfect music (I love the drums, Sarah is great.) Beautiful lyrics, so sad. And, of course, Harry's perfect voice.
Him kissing his guitar at the end was so precious. This whole performance was perfect. I know I am late commenting, but this was beautiful. And the silence between his singing towards the end was deafening. Love you Harry
I wish the album version had those note changes too! The SNL version is short and sweet but man when he hits those notes.....wow. Also the face crinkles are the bestest.
I sued to think of Harry, as a "boys band" manufactured product. This song, and this album, changed my mind. My teenage kids made me realize to "listen" not just once. Now I know, Harry is a talented musician who, in my 50's mind, is close to Beatles perfection. Love Harry.
Tell me something, tell me something You don't know nothing, just pretend you do I need something, so tell me something new Choose your words 'cause there's no antidote For this curse Oh, what's it waiting for? Must this hurt you just before you go? Oh, tell me something I don't already know Oh, tell me something I don't already know Brooklyn saw me, empty at the news There's no water inside this swimming pool Almost over, had enough from you And I've been praying, I never did before Understand I'm talking to the walls I've been praying ever since New York Oh, tell me something I don't already know Oh, tell me something I don't already know Oh, tell me something I don't already know Oh, tell me something I don't already know Tell me something, tell me something You don't know nothing, just pretend you do Tell me something just before you go Oh, tell me something I don't already know Oh, tell me something I don't already know Oh, tell me something I don't already know Oh, tell me something I don't already know For someone who doesn't know the lyrics...
I've watched this so many times. Not just because it's one of my favorites, but I also love the way he connects with each one of his band members ❤ He is at this point in his career, very famous, and could be a pompous ass like some are. Instead, he shows each one of them that he acknowledges their talent when he goes around the room and smiles. Just one of the reasons I am a fan.
I will never get enough of this version when he changes vocals at the end!! It makes me feel so emotional but so beautiful in the same time. I’m so glad that we can enjoj Harry’s music and ofcourse his awesome band ❤❤
@@Darthunic0rnoh really? where was it confirmed and by who? lots of different theories online about Robin, Taylor and the media, open to interpretation i think
"He makes me cry in a cool way!" Just saying, but I'm not telling you somethin you don't already know! Lol 😂💗🌸👍🏻 God I love this sweet boy! Wow!!! The band compliments #Harry so perfectly! He's so incredible! I love what he brings to the music world and I love what his Spirit brings to humanity 💕💜💕💜🎯🪄🥁🕉️👑🎊 I feel like he's one of my millennial children and I just want to hang out with him and I can never get enough of him 🥁
New fan and wish I was sooner. This song touches me deeply. I feel him longing for more. I feel the sadness in his voice. Goose bumps! Hope he’s better. So young and talented soul. Get it out baby and sing your truth!
I don't know if this song is really for his stepdad that passed away, but I'm very thankful for how much it helped me through some hard times after losing someone I loved very dearly
Such a beautiful song from beautiful Harry! I love it so much and could listen again and again...♥ I want to thank Harry - for everything. So grateful that he exists. He makes our world a better place.
Love this format because we can see and hear everyone in the band! The concert at MSG was amazing, but the incessantly screaming women made it difficult to fully hear and appreciate the genius and talent of H and the band. Some of these songs are so personal and heart-wrenching. I hope he finds love and happiness again. He’s so fortunate to have been in love and be loved at such a young age. Some people never find it. That will be impossible to top, but the most important thing about love is that you can rely on it and it’s loyal and long-term. There was so much pain and heartache in his young life. Hope he can open his heart and find it again.
the way i randomly show up here all the time to hear the belt at the ending asjfklsadjflkgsdaj i love this man so much and i cant believe how much he has grown
Mas é muito fofinho, esse menino!! Gosto tanto do jeito carinhoso com que trata os demais componentes, parece tão educado!! Sorte a minha tê-lo visto tão de perto aqui em Curitiba!! Vida longa, Harry!!
Makes my heart hurt knowing how much he loved his stepdad and wrote this song for him when he had cancer. So much empathy and sympathy in one young man. 🥲❤️
I love this song and you are awesome! You are blessed with a special talent, keep up the fantastic work you are doing! Never stop, you kick ass💋🌟♥️I love you and I am so proud of you!
Me recuperei. Hj ficam as boas lembranças. O tempo ameniza a dor. Temos que seguir em frente. Compreendo perfeitamente todas as dores de Harry. 😢😢
Every Badfinger fan will recognize that signature guitar riff here at 0:19 from their 1972 hit song "Baby Blue." Later immortalized in the series finale of TV's "Breaking Bad."
