3:51 he was laying down bc it was a part of their X Factor vocal training. Apparenyly laying down helps you get use to using your diaphram instead of say the back of your throat harmfully etc.
Seeing this makes me realize that his voice has evolved in giant leaps. It just keeps getting better and better. The difference between 2011 and 2020, ohh man.. His voice is pure honey now. I just love love love it. Can he get even better? Of course he can.
