i see that at ground scale all these prestigeous colleges have the same issue, few years back someone made a documentary about the same topic from an IIT perspective and turns out it had similar problems. The video is good as it shows the side of a college that every aspirant should at least know about before planting seeds of unrealistic expectations, not everyone gets a jack package. i think Bits having the high feels catches the gravity higher than IIT. Currently i m a dropper aiming for bits cuz 96%ile jee doesnt get you anywhere, these infos will certainly help me pave a way than being like a freeloader depending totally on college, as i still think bits would be my best option comparatively.
Thanks for the eye opener bhaiya! My tuition teacher's granddaughter also recently got a 70 LPA job in FakeTaxi (a competitor of Uber) & also has perks like monthly trips to Dubai. Now a third person will attribute the success to her college but reality is she has worked so hard that the college mattered less.

I am a proud BITSian and I love this college to BITS but the fee is one of the biggest problem. Dheere dheere bacho ki quality gir jayegi and fir BITS ki image jayegi.
i guess nope it is not worth it if there is no guarentee... cause every kid will imagine himself in worst case senario and listening that even an average or above average student is not getting place that too in a campus like bits... then it doesnt justify

@@ashokb884bits tag works in industry just like IIT. IIT is govt funded and bro don't see it as if it is a business sauda. You will learn things there. It's college not a stock. And this year placements at IIT also sucked. It's recession
I see people always complaining about the placements….money can be earned anytime in life 10 yrs from graduating it wont even matter…the main thing to see here is what the college is offering an individual and equipping him with the necessary skills for surviving in the market…the concern here shud be the value provided by the college rather than placements….its a choice to join bits and not to be seen as a liability just because of the placement POV
I think experience vary from Student to Student, this year situation is seriously bad not just BITS but in numerous Tier 1 colleges. Even experience employees facing the heat. Not in India but overall world. In such a situation good to grab Job first whatever may be the Package. Gain experience till situation improves. Hone your skills, lot of online platforms available. Compromise is not failure but part of Strategy.
BITS Pilani's 5-year dual degree is cheap (37 - 38 lacs). In BITS Law, a 5-year law degree costs close to 70 lacs (yes, 70 lacs). Could you just pause a moment and digest it? Within the next five years with the usual fee inflation, this will exceed 1 crore (for the same 5-year duration law degree). And this, when in the law domain BITS Law is considered Tier 3/4 with no alumni base. It is just milking the BITS brand.
After a low percentile at mains due to an autoimmune disease (not able to study for an entire month before first attempt). This was my last hope and I was quite hopeful and positive ki chemical bhi mil jayega toh loan leke chala jaunga You showed the reality and effed my life up. Aage ka aap hi batao From a slightly upper middle class background ( I am a good student and worked hard for 2 years)😢
@@somratdutta bhaiyaan waise work hard toh samajh gaya Padh lunga 10 12 hrs daily even padhta bhi hoon but jab aisi cheeze dekho na tab Dil Tut jaata hain Padhne ke liye andar se motivation bhi hona chahiye. After all sab college ke liye hi padh rahe hain. 🙂

It's not good to see a former student talking about his college in this manner. Placements are bad in every college. It's not like only bits is costly. Manipal and vit category 4 and 5 are the same. No point joining a tier 3 college because the peer group matters. If you are the best in your room, you are in the wrong room. I've seen the level of students in tier 3 colleges in my city. No infra, no professors, no learning. At least bits teaches you something. Please do not give biased info. Yeah the fee is high, but you yourself managed to finish it with MCN . Those who can't afford it can get MCN. So just stop trying to stay relevant.
Bro the whole point was my fees was 25L without scholarship, and I managed to bring it down to 7-10L by my father via keeping high CGPA and doing freelancing (and more). I worked day in and day out to make it happen. Problem is when you just see the bright side completely negating what could also go wrong. This is a mindset problem with folks these days, they just want to stay in a comfort bubble and get dopamine hit of what they want to hear. People just can’t deal with the truth and literally this is such an unbiased video. Like I demonstrated the bright side and the worse side and you will only comment on the negative aspect. You dont realise how much of a fee hike has happened that even with MCN it might not be enough (as its only on semester fees and not whole fees). It makes me giggle how people just dont have the balls to hear the truth. 😂
@@somratdutta agreed 👍🏻, the point being atlast is that its engineering, if you want to be average then it won't work, you have to be in the top list of the college to get good packages or do something on your own. 👍🏻

My daughter finished her degree recently ( 2019 Batch) in MSC Bio and BTech EEE . Struggling to get placement till now and present condition is negotiating Rs.20, 000 pm but employer willing to pay only Rs. 15,000 in B'lore with good CGPA. This is present situation.
It has been always two sides of something. I see many people saying college doesn't matter but in some cases it definitely matters. Whereas somewhere I really feel you can compromise for something which is getting out of your things. I imagine that agar bits ki ye halat hai to tier 3 colleges ki kya halat hogi but ya somewhere it feels agar esa hi placement hone wala hai to kam fees mai padhna kya hi galat hai. Matlab ek type ka chakravyuh hai pura system bhailog!!!

bro that is of 2023 + cse branch only. So only 82 percent placed is big concern. BITS Pilani, pilani campus 2023 placement cse 99% placed avg 35 median 32. Overall placement 89% overall avg 21 overall median 20. So donot compare senseless thing.
Bhaiya agar Bits me cse ,eee,ece type branch mil rha ho aur family income less than 8 lpa hai Or scholarship lene ka try kre college me (40%,80%) based on cgpa toh join kre ya nhii
I would say any college with such high fee is not worth if you have to take loans or parents have to use savings of years. It's better to go to some similar nit or iit or slightly lower iit which might have slightly lesser avg.
Bits jau ya vit? saare seniors bol rahe hein ki bits chale jao, tier 1 hein or placements vit se kaafi acha hein. Lekin fees bhi toh double lagega, full confusion ki worth it hoga kya
Hi bhaiya i wanted to inform u one thing last year 4_5 students from my batch got bits pilani cse who were not good in studies and couldnt even clear jeee…..they did by giving money to agents and alloceting centres at small towns…even i know the students by name….is there any way bits management community gets informed about thi scam….this is seriossss!! 2
@@sharmaji9431 so lookk these guys scored 2 digits scire in 1st attempt then achank se 2nd attempt they scored 300s which is not at all posssible…so later on we heard they agve 15-20 lakhs extra money to agents and they were alloted centres very far from hometown and idk proxy or they got the answer key and iam 101% sure about this cause ones student father himself told this yo someone and news got spread
