You don’t know how much I NEEDED this video tonight. Just finished 4 12’s back to back in the ER. To be out there all alone like that. The peace, beautify & everything around you. Thanks for the mental escape & taking me along on this adventure. It’s more than just a “video” or a “trip”. You are sharing the entire experience with us viewers. Especially those of us who would love to be able to do that. Stay safe Jim & tell Tori & the boys a RU-vid fan says hello.
Thank you all for your hard, hard work in the health care system. I know it takes a toll mentally and physically!!! So THANK YOU ALL SO SO MUCH💕❣️💖 And thank you Jim for this beautiful video👍👍❤️💚🥰
My friend and I just completed a 3 day, 20+ mile canoe trip, we didn't see another human the entire time. 90 minutes SW of Nashville. It was EPIC! A measure of thanks to you and your brother, saw you guys on Alone, picked you up on RU-vid. As a Canadian expat I love your content, it brings me back. Fuck nostalgia though, you guys inspired me to get my ass out and do it. So keep on kicking ass, you are appreciated.
There are many channels on YT that require very little or no effort on the part of the owner of said channel. This channel requires an absolute mountain of effort on Jim’s part from just what we see but then he and Tori have to edit through endless hours of video to give us this awesome finished product. I’m sure I speak for many when I say that watching Jim’s videos is not just cool and interesting, it is very therapeutic. Jim, you literally take us along with you and we can’t thank you enough for all of the effort you put in to make that happen. It’s not easy I’m sure, in fact it’s a pain in the ass. I get mad if I have to go back in the house to get my keys. But you constantly go back and get the camera that you left behind just to get shots of you passing by or climbing up a mountain or paddling by. You put in so much effort just to get 5-10 seconds of video and that says a lot about you dude. Your a good man, now hurry and get us some spring videos, 6-8 hours. Thanks Jim
I'm happy you didn"t comprehend things as once in a lifetime Jim. I have weakened but can live vicariously through you. the footage evolves leaps and bounds!
Thanks a lot man, I got a better main camera and am shooting everything in 4k which made things super challenging and lead to me having to buy a freakin 5k computer that has the power to handle such data heavy footage
Thanks for taking the time to film and talk us through your adventure in the striking Yukon, it really means something to people like myself who simply will never have the opportunity to do it for ourselves, yer a bloody good bloke.
Jim, it's wonderful to think that you have seen more unexplored places, and hidden wilderness than most people alive will ever do. But the really amazing thing about it, is we get to see it too, YEEAAAHHHH !!😄 Never forget how much it's appreciated. Thanks man.
“Way more fish than the recipe calls for” sounds PERFECT 👌🏻. What a day. A lot of slogging… but a good camp spot and a well earned delicious stew for dinner!
T.Y. for this Vid !! ~ Soft Loving Tears of Nostalgia & Homesickness, once again, Flow Thru Ones, Heart & Soul, As the Yukon Rivers & Waterways Flow, Thru Your So !! Appreciated Adventures !! in a Land SO, Challenging & BELOVED ~~ T.Y. Jim & Tori for her Editing & MOST OF ALL, for Sharing !!!
Incredible stuff here Jim. Never take for granted how absolutely fortunate you are to live this life. Slobs like myself can only wish for these adventures. Thanks for taking us along!
Another jolly good show, I think you and I and a lot of others were born 300 years to late !! I'm getting ready for my kayak camp next week, thanks for the inspiration and tips !!
HAHA, a new Yukon series! Awesome... For a nerdy strategist born in WV who loves the outdoors, your channel & content is a sight for sore eyes(from staring at code & performance data)... Appreciate a glimpse into the world Im working towards finding...
For years I have been inspired by people like you, for years I have wanted to experience what you live and for years I have fought for this dream of finally going to the Yukon and living there for a while! And in 4 months it's finally time! I will leave Germany and come to Canada. At the latest after the winter I'll be in the Yukon! Thank you for your videos, thank you for your inspiration, thank you for your motivation! You reminded me so many times that it's important to fight for your dreams! Maybe we'll see each other in person sometime! It would be a honour to me! Best regards from Germany!
There are a world of videos on RU-vid, but Jim's are the ultimate. He really tells it here. Are we going to sit and watch life, or go live it? I try in my smaller ways but Jim is living life on steroids and will wind up dragging me out there gladly kicking and screaming with joy.
So cool and I loved how you were sensitive to the ducks situation and not driving them down stream..... Also I notice and appreciate every time you set up a fixed camera and made it look like you were just passing through when actually it meant doubling back...
Your photography is beautiful, I do not know how you can be alone with difficult passages and still manage to get those shots- congratulations and thanks.
Soooo good. Just love your vids man. You have a real gift as a story teller. Love that you fill in all the little accent shots and the music blend. Very cool that you took the time to let the ducks settle before pushing through. Respect! Can't wait for the next.
Thanks a lot, I was hanging out with a Cree native from Moosonee who watches my vids. He gave me the name winnishk which means groundhog. This is because you’ll never see a groundhog’s poop and he never sees me poop in my videos but he means in general it’s because I leave things the way I found them when I’m in the bush.
I always feel like a slouch when you cook a better meal in the Yukon than I do in my own house. Thanks so much for going on these adventures and sharing with us Jim!
@@JimBairdAdventurer I would LOVE to go back in a heartbeat and do some more wilderness survival activities! Looks like you had an amazing time up there!
"I just couldn't accept that this was a once in a lifetime experience." Yep, you just summed it up perfectly, that's how it was when I fell in love with the wilderness too.
Thanks again , can’t wait 3th one, and till the end. Also agree what you said, once you see I can’t stop coming to the Yukon every year. Me too my friend, specially the Peel area.
Yukon Wilderness is tranquil with beautiful scenery! As I'm watching this video so peaceful that we're almost forgetting about the wild🔥 fires which has been burning out West, Yukon, and Northwest Territory since early summer. People have been evacuted and still too dangerous to go back home.🙏✌️⛈️ 👍🌅🏞🏕️️🚣🎣😋🍽️☕
I like Jims comments a lot. He is getting older and wiser and can reflect more about the predicament of the ducks and more. So little water in the creek the middle of summer.
Brilliant 👍.At 54 years old and having adventures all my life I did my first 17 day canoe trip in Temagami this year. Many people have said its the trip of a lifetime. I hope not, I've got time for another 30 years of adventures, I hope Atb Rick n Billydog
This is awesome man, I would love to take an adventure through the territories. I have been to every province in Canada, but have not been further west or north of Vancouver.
Another great adventure from you Jim! I really enjoy your videos. They are top notch quality in content and filming. Keep them coming bud! Cheers to the family!👏🏻🤙🏼
I love it brother, keep them vids comming! You and Ted are the best I cannot wait for a bros camping trip. It seems like all campers/adventurers on RU-vid take the summer off because of the bugs and they do a couple in the winter and have enough money to keep the train moving forward... I miss agressivity like you do push push bringing the best content with kids at home and a wife and all responsabilities you are seriously a person I look up to that inspire me alot. You truly love camping and exploring you a real one! hehe Keep up the good work!! A++
Jim spotted this….. I welcome this just out of hospital. I really thank you for your heartfelt dialogue….today the connection with the wilderness in your expressions was of great value to me…..
It's interesting... first of all big LIKE..! 👍Fantastic nature, your courage to go through all that Jim, I've reviewed some of your adventures & trips. I would like to ask you if you have ever seen or at least experienced Bigfoot. You passed the zone where few people set foot. That's why I'm asking you... I saw him in 2018 during the hunting season, thank you buddy for the answer. Keep going, bless you and your family. Best regards from Canada. 🤙💕🍁🌲🍺👌
@@JimBairdAdventurer Thx Jim ..I wish to you buddy more nice adventure all around North America. Feel & you are free as a bird. Wow. Thx. for amazing video.!👌🤠🍷💕🍁🌿✌
Wow, The Outdoor Gourmet Jim! You and Les Stroud. I think Les would have been out gathering Juniper Berries for that stew though. Some beautiful Grayling, keep it up.
