Packing four 8” Hartke patented HyDrive speakers and a 500-watt Class D amplifier into a sleek enclosure weighing only 49 pounds, the Hartke HD508 Bass Combo provides exceptional bass tone to any rehearsal, stage or studio. The combo includes Hartke’s Shape control, enabling a specialized preset EQ curve designed to improve your tone through selective boosts and attenuations across the frequency range. The adjacent variable filter and 3-band EQ provide further customization. The HD508’s top-mounted amplifier also offers an XLR direct output, 1/8" stereo Aux input, 1⁄4" headphone output and effects loop.

Sounds real smooth. Just wish they mic the speakers as well since all we’re hearing is the sound of the amp post DI.

I really wish Hartke would have an ext speaker out on the HD508 and HD500, I absolutely loved my HD500 but ended up getting rid of it as I need the option to use an extension cab with gigs that have no FOH support. If Hartke ever makes an HD500 with a Speak-on or 1/4 speaker output I’ll repurchase it in a heartbeat !!!!

I have the 2x10 combo and the kick back 15 . I daisy chain the two . Out of the effects send to the input of the kick back . I play upright and is one heck of a combo .

Not sure why you didn't build it with capabilities for an extension cabinet. Just think of all the 4X8 cabinets you could've sold to compliment the 508. I may have been the only one, but I would've bought one. I am sure the 508 will do anything and everything I will ever need, but....

Was gonna get this but went with the fender 800 combo. This says 500 watts but that’s only the peak.

I think I might go the same way for the same reason. I mean,. 250 isn't that much and no output for extension cabinet gives no option but DI to FOH or pa. Still, it sounds really great.

And another BASS video done 100% WRONG. Considering most people are listening on a phone which all have limited bass response. You should try mixing the music accordingly. All I can here is. Snare, cymbals, keys and maybe once per measure A SINGLE BASS NOTE. Yes I could go dig for a speaker or headphones. But should anyone have to?. You're selling a BASS AMP right? Maybe make the BASS AMP the most predominant sound?

If you are trying to compare bass amps listening to a cell phone audio then I think we found the first point of failure right there, not this video.

@@darrinwilson8484 I listen to plenty of music and some is mixed good and some isn't. But I'm just saying. If the main point is to sell a bass amp. I personally would make the bass the most prominent instrument.
