Having visited this fantastic maritime experience / museum, I can definitely say that it really does give you a realistic perspective of life in HM Royal Navy circa 200 years ago. Stepping onto HMS Trincomalee, you soon appreciate how hard the actual working and living conditions were! The experience is ‘brought to life’ even more, with members of the team dressed in period costumes PLUS some even firing replica guns from the period! Even the seagulls play their part! A great day out, with the added benefit of some wonderful sea air, for that authentic touch!
