Pretty interesting. I've often wondered about the story behind the cemetery!

I have lived on this lake for 30 years. I know about the island and have even ventured to it. Creepy as it seemed. I didn’t know much about the history of it.

I really enjoyed this incredibly well-narrated and wonderful tale. I tried to look for further information about Serrill Gray Broin but couldn't find anything online, nothing at all. Does anyone know anything more about her? I would appreciate any links... Thanks!

Went there today . Place is really cool and interesting.

I stayed on the island in a tent with my family and their kids and my husband on the last night of a full night for the year of 2023 9_28 or 29 after midnight I heard the voice of the women calling a name she was carrying a lantern I heard her voice seen the light glowing in my tent guickly covered my head so she couldn't see me but I was so scared everyone else was sleeping they didn't hear nothing I planned on going back next summer the experience was so cool and the island you can walk all the way around it

Brother I'd like to know more. My family owned a lot and lake house/cabin off of Ridgemore Dr. I know there is a grave yard up near where our cabin was. I'm in Baldwin if you want to connect brother.

How do you get to this Island from Tagaloo State Park?

I thought this area was inhabited by the Creek Indians not the Cherokee
