Irony aside I feel as if that is a nice/polite thing to do. Force an issue outwardly that you might not inwardly support without being prompted to do so.

well that's the point, they AREN'T supposed to eat each other, that's what the whole series is about, the primal vs the civilized, and how on one hand, they aren't supposed to mix, yet on the other their society attempts to. The only advice I wish someone would give Legosi is that "Choice", a true concerted and mental decision TO either DO or NOT DO something is very important, impulse and thus instinct rears its head when we are uncertain or going into an unknown situation. But when the Ego, asserts itself, it can and does control the ID. Uncertainty is what hurts people, and in this society it can kill. True focus lies somewhere between rage and serenity.
That is so beautifully put. We all face down every day our own demons, and we all have to do a delicate tightrope act of balancing when shall we allow our instincts to take over and when are we going to do the right thing and behave like civilized big brain humans. Anger, lust, hunger, sorrow, glee, they all are powerful chemical drugs in our brains that we both equally need to survive but cannot allow to overtake us like Legosi's bloodthirsty except when we have mastered their control and know what we really need to do with them, and that it is far healthier to admit this struggle is difficult and reach out for help from allies(like Panda)and communicate instead of pretending we can get away with it all on our own.
My advice to Legoshi is “do what you want as long as you don’t hurt yourself or others if you can help it”. That’s my lifestyle and I feel pretty good about it so far

I love how during this whole scene we believe Legoshi is being so awkward and insecure while Haru is in control, and then we hear her monologue and she's way more freaked out. Funny thing too is that I relate to her in a way, as I was raised by extremely extremely racist parents, so whenever I'm with a friend that isn't white I am like her, with a learned instinct telling me I should be feeling uncomfortable while I myself know I have to stop listening to it. Then again, Haru's instincts have a justifiable reason to trigger.

How ironic, considering the fact that Haru's voiced by Lara Jill Miller who's also Juniper Lee from the Life & Times of Juniper Lee, Lisa Loud from the Loud House/Casagrandes, Kari from Digimon (s1 & s2, mind you) and Libby Stein-Torres from The Ghost & Molly McGee.
@@crow1628 This reaction is literally me when I 1st found out it was Lara and she did both Widget and Haru's voices. Wow wow wubbzy was part of my childhood so I was shocked!
I so love the choice of casting Lara Jill Miller as Haru, and not just because her voice is perfect for the role, but that they casted someone mostly known for acting in kids' cartoons in something a lot more adult and serious. Voice actors can be just as amazing in more dramatic roles, look at Kari Wahlgren - there are her performances in Fish Hooks etc. and then there's her performance in something like Samurai Champloo. I love when they give VAs a chance to shine in that area.

The English voiceacting is so good! the voices sound very similar to the originals- meanwhile in my motherlanguage- german- they absolutely don't sound similar in any way 😭😆 not really a fan of that.
beastar season 1 was so much better than 2 i hope if they make a 3rd they change course more inline with this cause season 2 litterally felt like Legosi prepped all season just for it to go to waste in the end
