i read from his former roommates blog post that he felt extremely upset after snk’s live action adaptation was received poorly and that he wanted to apologize to the manga fans who were disappointed in the direction that the film had taken. this really shows his dedication to playing a role and how seriously he takes it. haruma didnt even want to see the finished film as a result because he was so afraid of seeing the “disappointment” that the film was. i hadnt realized it was so bad for these actors who were merely given lines to memorize and to do their job. please please please. even if you hated something be it a film, television show, song, etc. please be respectful in stating your criticism and never direct hate at those who probably had no say in the production process. thank you for your talents and contributions towards the entertainment world, haruma. your smile will never be forgotten

His manager also said sometimes he's hard on himself, I think he's kinda perfectionist 😞 but he's truly amazing I love his movies and series coz he get on his character really well. If snk is not that good it's not his fault he only follow the scripts, I like him to play that role though the liveaction movie script change the character a bit so it's not his fault. Rip haruma you'll always be one of the good actors who help us smile and bring hope to our life, wish you'll be happy now wherever you are though we're gonna miss you forever 😢😢😢

I believe no one blamed him for the movie, everyone was just dissapointed how some of the main characters were missing. The writing was bad and they changed some major plot points. No one was hating Miura for the film i guess...

His smile catches people off guard. It's a genuine smile that reaches his eyes. I hope he was able to experience happiness in this world despite leaving this world so early. Many people are hiding their pain especially in countries where talking about depression is still considered taboo. I hope that in our little ways, we lessen the stigma against depression and reach out to those who are quietly going through their pain alone. RIP Haruma Miura.

I don't wanna sound cheezy but i stayed in korea for almost a year and one of my korean friends used to work in one of this entertainment companies before (not much important place) and he always told us these rules of dating or plastic interventions ect somehow are a taboo . Many of these actors or Idols hie now are referred yes they do these natural actions even though they must be very careful to hide them .

I've watched him since his Gokusen days and instantly knew he was special. His acting was so natural and charismatic. I'm so shocked that he left in such a manner at such a young age. It breaks my heart to think that he was struggling with something like this and no one seem to know about it. Please do not use the word "committed" when dealing with the subject of suicide. The word "committed" carries a guilt connotation for the person who died by suicide. When a person suffers from some psychological condition and ends up dying like that, it is often because he cannot see other options besides this extreme action (which is characteristic of his condition - duality - as if there were only black or white. No Grey). Therefore, suicide is an outcome of the disease (such as death, cure or sequel to any other disease) and the person is NOT guilty of it. So, to minimize stigma and help this public health issue be taken seriously, in order to contribute to the reduction of preventable deaths, use the expression "death by suicide" / "died by suicide" and not "committed suicide" when reporting it.

I haven't been into J-dramas for a while, but I remember binge watching his shows, and thinking wow he's so beautiful and talented. And he was perfect for the role in ATOT, I'm so gutted that he's gone. Even when someone appears perfect and like their life is perfect, this shows we need to take the extra step to be more aware of the people around us, because these "perfect" people, may be suffering. I've always been a fan of him since the first time I saw him in Gokusen. I started following his works from there. Been a fan of him for so long that I consider him one of my favorites right up there with Oguri Shun. I think my favorite show of his will always be Samurai Highschool. He was so talented and charismatic. One of the most beautiful faces in Japanese show business. May he rest well.

My fav Japanese actor. I wake up to this :( I fell in love with his movies and dramas. I cried over his different deaths in the characters which he played. Now this is his real death. First Jonghyun from my fav Kpop group SHINee, then Sulli from fx, and now Miura. This is too much. I don't know them personally. But it breaks my heart that they were suffering so much in life to want to end their pain. Many people commit suicide everyday that we don't know about because they aren't famous. This breaks my heart.

One of my prefers for EVER is Boku no ita jikan / the hours of my life (and I recommend to everyone watch). It was so precious and important to my life, my way to live life and learn how to keep going through the sadness and all problems. His acting was so touching. The history is so heavy and extremely beautiful about How we can keep going through the problems and seeing the best part of life. It's like he HAVE TO do that character. Now I'm in tears cause I'm so thankful for his dedication that had changed lives through art. Guys, for those who wanted but couldn't not keep fighting we have to keep going !! I enjoyed all of his roles but the one that blew me away was "All the hours of my life" - he plays a young man just starting his adulthood and falls in love with a girl when he gets ALS. Thank you for posting a video to commemorate his life. I subscribed to this channel because of kpop news so I was surprised to see this, and looking through the comments it makes my heart warm to see people appreciate and respect him despite not knowing him beforehand. He was my ultimate favourite actor but he must’ve had a hard time.. Haruma will be greatly missed but now he can rest peacefully 🌹

I watch his movie 'Koizora' on dec last year and I am shock by the new he already gone. RU-vid recommend me are beautiful movie and I fall in love with hiro acting. So cool. He's my idol since 2007 😭😭 he's the reason why I want to go to Japan and my inspiration in life 😭 I can't believe that he's gone. When I discovered that he's already dead I'm on duty and while assisting a costumer I can't stop crying 😭😭😭😭 I really don't know what to do that time till now 😭😭😭😭😭 oh God please bring the back time and let us save him 😭😭😭😭

Same with our everyday idols.. you never know if one of the members of BTS or any other group is feeling suicidal. It happens too much in the Korean and Japanese Industry for me to be worried every single day on how my idol is doing.

Omg no---- it is currently 2am just saw this post. I'm in shock crying my eyes out. I cant believe this out of all Japanese stars. I dont know him personally and not a big fan of him. But I liked him since Sky of love, he did such a great job. I followed him since then. He always seem so cheery, funny and witty behind the scene. I'm so scared and sad of how many stars going through so much and they tried to put on a happy face for us fan. I'm deeply saddened I know he has very good close actor and actress friends that will be shock for his lost. It is their choices I just wish the world was a better for them so they didn't have to leave us. When it come to stars suicide, it hurt me alot.

From the depths of my soul, I wish people would just let idols, and all celebrities for that matter, just fucking live. Let them be. People need to stop building these atrociously high pedestals for these very human people just to drop kick the damn thing out from under them. Every time I read about a suicide in the Asian community, I get this overwhelming wave of 'let me cry my eyes out,' even if I don't really know of them, cuz these are people. Sad. He probably didn't had anyone close to him to give him a helping hand before he passed but at the same time he should have reached out for help. What a horrible way to die by committing suicide.

he has. but in depression, even if you have lots of friends, depression makes you still feel like you have no friends... :'( depression even makes you ignore everyone even to close friends who tries to reach out to you when they notice you're having a tough time.. and sometimes, depression isn't even noticeable... its a sad reality.

Suicide rate from East Asia especially Korea & Japan is quite extreme and that was really scary af.. in Korea, their community is competitive.. everything is competion for them.. meanwhile in Japan, their life is only for work.. there's no time for family or loves.. 1 thing that similar from this country is, bullying and depression.. i think both of their government should step up to solved this issues..

I really hope these people avoid using scandal for relationships. Its human nature and just because u love or like a person u can't force them to love u back the way u want or otherwise stay single forever. Then u r not a fan but a manipulator. Let them have a private life. Let them love who ever they want to.

I got so atteched to him in Sky Of Love. I started to love him and admire him since then. That's why when I learned that about the news on that same day, I just felt blank. I have a shift/work that day. And I was just like, don't bother me. Don't talk to me. I'm not in the mood. No overreacting and exaggeration. But on my lunch, I just cried my heart out. He made me lonely and sad on that whole day. We lost another star. You'll always be my Hiro. I will miss your smiles and everything about you. Whenever you smile, your eyes smile too. I love you, Hiro. Rest in peace.
