Ahh I was at this show! During Sports Men the elderly Japanese man in front me of me started dancing in his seat and so did the girl I met there sitting next to me which made the experience that much more wonderful. Thank you for recording!
It was such a fabulous show. YMO were in Town that week: Yukihiro Takahashi was in the audience, Ryuichi Sakamoto was at the Festival Hall with Coda and had also done an experimental show in East London. It was like a dream, except I didn't have to play the bass and I had trousers on.
