Just a little sneak peek at what freshman dorms at Harvard can look like. Also wanted to show off my freshly-organized drawers :) Music: Smile - Lakey Inspired
Really tiny bedrooms. I would hate sharing such a small bedroom with another person. It is crammed. It would be okay for one person but for two - it must be really unpleasant sharing.
I don’t understand why the room is so tiny going to Harvard isn’t cheap so the rooms should be bigger that’s crazy. No way dream school somewhere else.
azucena e but it says that an undergraduate degree can go for about $43K USD just for tuition, and can cost as much as $65K including all the fees..? I’m Australian, so I’m not sure if that’s expensive for Americans, but that’s around $96K AUD and that’s very, very expensive...
TO SOLVE THE MAIN QUESTION The lack of space is because Harvard old structure. Old dorms were like that, and due to ONLY white male persons where attending Harvard, that double room was actually a single, the triple a double etc. Since the old architecture can't be renovated or destroyed, they managed to organize them that way. Hope that cleared some stuff.
This is just what Massachusetts is like in general. But I do agree that this is not the best please with dorms. I’m guessing they give out a lot of scholarships or other people show low income in order to not pay the entire fee.
I understand that Harvard tried to make the best of the old building and organize its space. With amazing exterior architecture and design, it is quite difficult to change the dorm alignment and accommodate their students. But for a person with claustrophobia and asthma, it's a nightmare.
Kori Rotondi listen man I’m a sophomore in college and I want to tell you that you have 3 years of slacking left. As soon as you hit 9th grade you have to be in full learn mode. Because EVERYTHING counts from gpa to if you’re taking honor classes. And don’t throw away any of your notes from 6th grade keep everything so when it’s time to study for your big exam you’ll be fine.
work hard !! the moment you hit your freshman year of high school is the moment you go HAM. you’re gonna want to slack off and not try, maybe even settle for “good enough” but it will bite you in the ass when you’re a senior applying for colleges. I slacked off through my high school years. I settled for “that’s a good enough grade”. Now I’m a senior, and I regret all those years of messing around. I had potential to be a good student. I had potential to get into a good school. Your grades matter. Do well, Harvard is a pretty hard school to get to and I wish you well in the future.
Smartness has got nothing to do with achieving your goals! Persistence, focus and discipline is all you need I'm sure you'll achieve your goal! Wishing you well for the future 😀
I am not from America. So I am a little confused .Does class of 2022 means that the match is going to graduate on the 2022?? Plzz tell don't takee as a fool . I am just unfamiliar with American education system
Jhilmil Ranga You could move off-campus but Harvard offers housing all four years so most people move into houses (the process is a lottery). Watch my latest video for what my sophomore year housing looks like!
