In an interview with Harvard Magazine, Jason Furman, Ph.D. ’04, Aetna professor of the practice of economic policy at Harvard Kennedy School and the department of economics, discusses the economic impact of immigration on the United States since COVID-19. Furman served as chief economic advisor to President Obama and is credited with helping to lead much of the Obama administration’s fiscal policy, including the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA), otherwise known as ObamaCare.
