Also, I want to ask if the video looks somewhat “dark” or “dim” on your screen? Some of the rendering turns the video dim and I’m wondering if that’s just for me or for everyone.

@@arpit_sharma Hey! The picture quality seems fine to me. The lightness, and darkness seems to fit in with where you are and the time of day. Looks good to me! Everything seems to be gearing up for the next two weekends of Christmas and New Years. I wish you the very best for the coming weeks and for the new year! Emma! So nice to hear from you here! Thank you for liking the Harvard Vlogs:) I do think after a certain point academia and industry can be quite similar as well. How's your role in the industry now compared to what you saw me doing here?

@@arpit_sharma I really like my role in industry! Like the week you showed here, it's a balance between working in the lab and the bench. Rather than writing papers as you did here it's typically more of writing in my lab notebook or making presentations for meetings, but there are some chances to write publications also! We also have some meetings/seminars like you showed (mostly from internal speakers) and the occasional free food! The biggest difference I saw was that while you were concerned about the cost of the reagents and having limited resources, which is not really an issue that comes up in my job! Of course if it's a really important sample, stakes are still high, but we typically do not need to worry about the reagents which is good. I also wouldn't be able to vlog in my industry lab, but it's great that you are able to show people about your work!
