Tip: spam x on first spurt until red face then breathe to full recovery. Spam x on 2nd spurt before getting red face then breathe for a few secs. You'll notice on that part Kai is slowing down. Then spam x until finish line.

I play the old harvest moon on SNES and as a kid, I just enjoyed the rake that flipped rows of dirt. That was it. That was the whole game for me... eating some berries and flippin dirt... I didn't know there was this much depth to it. MIght.. check it out again.. you know, for research purposes...

This is painfully accurate. Can't forget how if you forget to feed your chickens for a day, they die. And then everyone calls you a horrible person and it just sends you, the player, into a spiraling depression. ...R.I.P My 13th chicken. :(

You forgot about 4:44 easter egg in Harvest Moon --- In Japan 4:44 means DEATH. So if you in Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town watch the TV when clock (clock object, not one on HUD/interface I think) shows 4:44, TV start saying the same words again and again: DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE

Oh yeah!! I saw this on Newgrounds when it first came out!! I remember because I coincidentally had been playing Harvest Moon for the first time (specifically Back To Nature), and was surprised to see content for it! Mineral Town is the best Harvest Moon ever. Great music (PS1), great characters. I had one of those multiple memory cards in 1 which I kept all my data on. I saved it the day before I was about to be married to Karen, then when I went back for the big day I found my memory card got corrupted. >_< I'm not afraid to admit: I cried over it, there was anguish in the soul. ...Then I pulled up my overalls and did it all again. Last I checked, Karen and I were married happily ever after with 1 toddler. Good times. They def need to release the soundtrack on Amazon someday

Years later, this is still my old classic, but have gotten better over the years. I have the PS1 classic in the PS3 and PSP. Of course, I moved on and played Rune Factory 4, practically the twilight years of the Dev team.

when i was a child (8 yo) i married Poporry or Ellie ,becoz she is cute, shy and unadorned. But Now im 22 yo and played again i Married Karen because she is alcoholic like me . hahaha.. xp. LOL
