When I was little my older brother let me play this game and it has literally become my life. I made a garden in my backyard and starting learning to farm by age 16. I traveled to organic farms to learn by example from those with experience and encouraged my family to move to a ranch. Now I've got my farm with goats, chickens, ducks, flowers, herbs, and vegetables, even hay fields and a forest. I shop local and participate in community festivals. My life is a cottagecore dream come true and it's all thanks to this cute little game. Hearing the music after so long really brings it full circle.
Out of all the gaming franchises i experienced, and all the games I've played, Harvest Moon has stood the test of time as the most wholesome, relaxing, purest of franchises. And the one I cherish the utmost. I don't play video games as much as i did. But when I do. It's the franchise formerly known as Harvest Moon
A wonderful life is the only game besides resident evil 4 that I make an effort to beat every single year I'm alive just because of how in love with them I am I can never get sick of either of them. 😁
When i was 8 my grandma bought us harvest moon btn because we liked sailor moon and she thought it was sailor moon, me and my brother took turns playing on a small push button tv. There was no internet back then, so we had to use the pamphlet that comes with the game to tell when the stores were open, i gave everyone weeds and after the 3 years thomas kicked me out.
I was just playing Stardew and suddenly wanted to listen to Harvest Moon/Story Of Season music while I played for some reason... I was pleasantly surprised when I found this. So many nostalgic songs! Harvest Moon is my first video game memory as well, specifically Save the Homeland as I remember watching my mom play it when I was a little kid. I honestly think the franchise played an important role in shaping me into who I am today. Listening to this as I tend to me half acre garden I started this year. Between the garden the fruit tree orchard I planted and my chickens, I am living my dream as a kid playing Harvest Moon.

I lost my house when I was 8 and my older sister had to move into my grandmas next door while I lived in a small one bedroom apartment with my parents. I'd take my gamecube next door and go hook it up to play with her next door for a few hours a day and lug it back and forth. I got her addicted to farming sim games and she became obsessed with ACNH once she got her own switch a few years ago and now I play with her and my nieces! I can't wait for ANWL to come out and I still love Story Of Seasons games.
You should! It's awesome. Used to play when I was a kid, I remember crying when my saved files gets deleted 😂 who wouldn't XD when your farm is at its best, you have your wife and child, happiest farm animals, producing best quality products
A Wonderful Life seems to be popular, never tried. I loved Back to Nature (PSP) and it's gameboy advance remake, Friends of Mineral Town. Another remake is Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town, it's for Switch I think.
@@uruppy1406 A wonderful life is so popular because the village & yourself/family actually ages each year and your child has their own personality type. You can also shape the career choices of your child by giving them certain gifts :-) It's a great game!

nice mix I love them so much. They bring back my memories of Story of Season since 2003, when I was 7 years old. Those Game Boy moment. I _know_ that at 9:48 its technically the "event theme" from HHMM, but my brain calls it _Alex's Theme_ or _The Clinic Theme_ because child me would regularly push my character until I collapsed so I could wake up in the clinic and see him XD

So what happens is after you have kids the harvest king (ignis, or as I call him, child stealer ) wants to take your child to help him with another island that has issues. If you agree you never see that child again, but it does help you with essentially getting a new game plus, where you have full levels and full upgraded tools iirc
bruh first one hit hard. first few seconds and nostalgia rushed hard. first harvest moon i played (PSP version). Its also the first game i played that has farming/fishing/mining and dating! easily one of my most memorable game of my childhood.
