Some plants have reached maturity so that means that it's time to harvest! I spent the afternoon harvesting what was ready to come up, and re-planting some new crops for a late fall harvest.
Thanks man! They're really deadly, I got them off of Sam's mom 2 years ago. I'm gonna have to see if I can buy 20lbs of them somewhere online and save a bunch of seed because they're the best I've had. Though I love the newfoundland blue potatoes too. I'll give you a couple to try!
You mentioned in a previous video way back but I can not remember now...what are you using for your hoops. You bought a roll of some gauge size of wire? Great video!
Thanks a lot! And yeah, that's right. It came in a 50ft roll, so I just used a grinder with a metal cutting disc to cut it to the correct lengths to fit my beds, which was roughly 6ft lengths, if I remember correctly. Here's the link to what I bought at Home Depot: www.homedepot.ca/product/ook-50-ft-9-ga-165-lb-max-galvanized-utility-wire--1pc/1001027805?eid=PS_GO_140203__ALL_PLA-526641&eid=PS_GOOGLE_D00_Corporate_GGL_Shopping_All-Products_All%20Products__PRODUCT_GROUP_pla-336655210985&pid=1001027805&gad_source=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw8rW2BhAgEiwAoRO5rHQW34vQmB8r1dZ2fPY8iyFAAK90Y-AQ1ABTNuNUfNQk6-kb86CA9hoC0mEQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
@@MyHeathenPath. Thank for the reply. I bought the coated green hoops from dollaramam which are best kind but short and narrow and I have tubing but it's cumbersome, but I like what you have there. You can make it any size and not bulky!
