Great idea to show us your night time harvesting. You all are working really hard. Its so great to see how you two as a couple work together to accomplish this huge job of harvesting. You all are good folks and I wish you much success and eventually some time to get some rest.
I wish that during your wedding, GOD would have given you both a glimpse of this beautiful picture of you two riding side by side in the combine. This is true love and happiness. 👍🙏🏼😎✌️
MAD PROPS for turning out such a quality product so fast! Seriously!! the math suggests there was about a 10 hour delay form mid-film to subscriber viewing! I wish I had your magic for movie-making. Mine usually take about an hour of production per minute of product.
As I posted on a previous comment section. I am situated so that I can over look two valleys. Yes lots of stuff happens after sunset. It is neat to see all the barn lights come on as the farmers get ready for milking and this past weekend, lots of yellow flashing lights in the fields as they are harvesting the corn. A farmer's work is never done.
OMG this video is the best one I have watched from you guys. That Night drone footage is just amazing. You guys are really putting farming on the map. And yes I have watch every video of your harvest fest. This one is really outstanding.
It's great to see that for farmers the day doesn't always end when the sun goes down (especially during harvest time). Love the drone point-of-view video!
Seeing the lights is something else! 2023 Harvest has been one fantastic video after another. Thank you so much for the content Laura and Grant! (and Pepper!)
Now this was a good video showing the night harvesting, which was a nice switch-up from the others, so thanks. It was nice to see Pepper, you guys spoil her with her evening meal too.
Hello Laura and Grant from Texas. Another great video from you guys. We have so enjoyed being in combine, tractor cab and truck cab through harvest. You guys are something very special
I remember when I was young and could work for insane hours and still feel fit and ready to go the next morning. These days I sometimes forget that I'm no longer 18 years old when I wake up in the morning and leap out of bed. Then it hits me. The leap turn into a roll and I remember. 😄😄 I love your channel, Laura. Watching two young people working together to build their future is very uplifting.
Something emotional hit me watching your night harvest. I don't know why, i thought of where my grandfather and much if his family is buried. About 10 years ago i made the trip from Minnesota to Eagle Cemetery about 20 miles east of Lincoln to find his resting place. He died about 25 years before i was born about 1928. It's such peaceful, beautiful spot. I was there in August and the corn fields that surround the cemetary were tall, green and lush. Your harvest moon really moved me. Thanks! 🙏
I love Grant’s hat. My Iowa farmer, Grandfather had many similar hats that I frequently wore as a child. Brings back wonderful memories. Also, I would definitely take a week’s vacation and work for free to help harvest. There’s just something about harvest that soothes the soul.
I can remember getting off the school bus - around 4:15pm - doing some after-school chores, collecting my homework, and waiting by our grain auger; my mom would bring the 3-ton home, and I would haul grain until it got too damp to put it in a bin... did a lot of schoolwork in the cab, put it that way...
I think with such a very easy farm with only easy crops as corn and soya beans, it can easily done by AI. A operations where they grow sprouts, onions, carrots, potatoes, that's a complex operation Nice to see your warm hart for pets.
Thanks for all the harvest videos, as a retired Farmer I know how much work it is plus in your case all the videos to boot. If I was closer I come and help ya guys
Thanks for all of the video's showing harvest season. Harvesting is more than a 8 to 4 job. When you are picking we put in the hours you need to get the crop out. When done with the season you can catch up with everything else. Its long, its tiring but you wouldn't miss it for anything.
I am thankful you got as much harvesting done as you could. Winter has rolled thru here in Wyoming. We were the Southern end of the storm in Casper. It is Nov. 1st. That moon was amazing on camera. Good job.
Blown away by the size of their equipment. Country absolutely Beautiful. Such a great educational video. You guys are so awesome thank you for such awesome videos. ❤
It is so refreshing to see your videos as a reminder of a time in post-WWII when 60% of Americans lived and worked in agriculture. A time when the American farmer fed much of the war ravaged parts of the world as well as our own people. It was hard-working people just like you who made it possible, and it's so great to see you carry on that sign of America's greatness! It isn't dead at all, if you know where to look for it! Thank you both!!❤❤
The night video was pretty cool. Hope you wrap up your harvest pretty soon. Always good to see Pepper and the kittens. Take Care and Be safe on the farm. Out
Hi Laura and Grant. Thanks so much for taking us all along with you two. I've been watching for like 3 years and you two always teach me new things relating to farming. I love it! Keep up the good work, and may God bless both of you!
What a fun look at you farming in Vampire mode.... Full moon to boot! Drone work is spot on. Great shots. Being totally tuned into your "harvesting" mode I sort of hate to think of it ever ending. It's been a great 47 days. You all deserve the coming break. I'm just being spoiled.....
Halloween is special for me because it is my 2nd birthday, the day that I was born again! That was a beautiful sunset tonight. I am glad that you did this night harvest. It shows how limited your vision is in the field. Being in the field or pasture is so much more different than being on the road at night.
Hi guys just like to say thank you for sharing how much work it is to farm I live Welland Ontario Canada near Niagara falls 59 years old as a kid living on a farm pick sweet corn and tomatoes well take care
Thanks for sharing such awesome shots at night! You really nailed the atmosphere of what it must be like to be harvesting in the dark! Much ❤ to everyone involved
It is so lovely to follow your harvest in NB - thank you so much. It was realy realy nice sequences Grant made by the drone in the dark evening/night. You are a perfect drone pilont Grant 🙂
I remember back in the early 70's working the harvest after school and would drive grain in 5 to midnight then do a midnight to 4 shift on the combine and driving what I cut in then a worker would take over and the combine worked 24 hr a day weather providing. Back then there was no navigation, air con or height levelling etc, everything was done by eye and even some combines never even had a cab.
GOOD VIDEO LAURA AND GRANT. NIGHTS AND LIGHTS CHANGE THE WHOLE PERSPECTIVE ON HARVISTING. WHILE ON A FARM IN THE EARLY 80'S I ALWAYS ENJOYED PICKING COTTON MORE AFTER DARK. WE HAD 3 782 INTERNATIONAL COTTON PICKERS RUNNING. THE LIGHTS SHINNING ON THE COTTON ROWS AT NIGHT WERE LITERALLY BEAUTIFUL. I CAN STILL SMELL THE COTTON WHEN WE DUMPED IT IN THE TRAILERS.......NO MODULE BUILDER ANYTHING BACK THEN!!!!!!!
I follow a number of tech sites that talk about the eventuality of "robot farming." Watching your videos I can't fathom how people can ever be removed from the process, the corn needing to be cleared from the harvester a wonderful example. Thank you for showing us all how wonderfully beautiful, and complex, farming is. You make it look easy.
I remember when you talked about the need for a farmer in the cab. AI can’t fix any of the problems and breakdowns that you can encounter while harvesting. AI can’t get a combine out of being stuck in the mud anymore than an irrigation pivot can.
Good day 47 Sunshine! I really enjoyed the night time harvesting and especially the drone footage. It gave real perspective to the operation and the functioning of the equipment. NIce job Grant. You continue to sneak up on your goal and are getting very close. I'm praying you make it Laura. Thanks for sharing this different view of the harvest operation, it was interesting. Have a productive and safe day tomorrow, see you then. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
